I have a 24 150 with 502a,
I have had other cars with Heads-up-displays that suck wind, but...
The heads up display on my Lariat is Totally Awesome, They are programmable to change to what you want to see. When I drive my old POS I really miss the Heads Up Display.
Ford got this one right, when I trade this one in 3 years from now, if nothing else, it will have the Heads up display.
I just think it is the best feature Ford offers yet.

I ordered the Platinum over the Lariat as you cannot get a Lariat with the BAP and a 157" WB and I have no idea why. I do not understand why these options are conflicting. I hate chrome, so the BAP on a Lariat is non-negotiable for me, and if I'm spending this kind of money on a new truck a 5.5ft bed is not going to work either. Therefore, my hand was forced, and I had to go with the Platinum with the 702A package. 701A does not include the HUD and everyone says that feature is amazing. It'll be my first experience with it.

I just wish the Lariat could be optioned this way as I'd prefer to not have the moonroof.

I’m the odd one out of the group here and chose 701A platinum. No chrome in a 157”WB and no sunroof were my specific wants. Massaging seats is a nice touch too. 702 wasn’t worth $6,500 to me.

I strongly considered the same build. But ultimately I wanted the HUD because everyone says its amazing... and the upgraded sound system is a bonus as well. So they got me for the extra $6500.. ?

I certainly wanted the HUD. Had it been a ~$1-$2k option, I would have done it.

Dont blame you one bit for opting out for that price. It is silly..

701A doesn’t get HUD but 502A does? Thats interesting. 502A always seems like the best bang for buck

I was kinda in the same spot. I went with Platinum this round 702 because of the massage seats, power lift gate, HUD, bed camera, CCD and BAP. I do like the power boards as it is lower and easier to get in than the permanent ones. But that is a feature I would not die on a hill for. I really didn't want the pano roof but so far I love that. I'm just really nervous it will leak one day. Granted I'm only 1200 miles so very early in its life. I absolutely love the HUD and Pro Access Tailgate. Wasn't sure on the PAT but I use that feature every single day.
