Was searching local inventory and found a Platinum with 701A package and the price was $3285.00 which is a $600.00 increase. The blend date is 07/20/2021. Anyone notice this?

Prices shifted a bit between job 1 and 2. Job 2 order guide will indicate what exactly changed if anything

I believe the $600 charge for activating BlueCruise is included in the CoPilot360 ActivePrep pkgs now. For Job1 builds, it was a future cost you would pay to enable, after optioning in the h/w in the build.

Thanks for explaining it. I too wondered why all of the sudden my plat build is 600$ more from last week.

Funny thing is, if you try to avoid this Blue Cruise package, they will not let you upgrade the sound system to Unleashed 18 speaker option. Otherwise i would not have spec’d it.

I recently built my truck in the configurator for shits & giggles and noticed that pretty much everything was either a few bucks more or in the case of cheaper options, %50 more. The package incentives were also missing.

I would have to check out my original MSRP but I am guessing that my XLT truck is about $2000 dollars more now.

FWIW, all prices are subject to change until your window sticker is printed. My dealer was very up front about this and told me a couple of times when I placed my order to expect some minor changes if it doesn't get picked up right away.

That's still a sore point to any of us who ordered Max Tow last year before it was jacked up $645 from $1,350. Granted, Ford's price for the HD 3/4 floating rear axle had gone up by over $1,000 and surely their cost had gone up too, but the price has dropped to normal since then, yet just like everything else the increase remains. I was just a little annoyed but some people were downright apoplectic.

Ford F-150 Platinum 701A Package price increased? 7373DFB5-D1C5-40D2-9C7F-4DE5DF5B6128

Still, a few bucks here and there relative to the high base prices and there's no doubt about all prices going up across the board in 2022 model year trucks.

Yeah, I definitely feel they should be doing better by those with 3-4 month waits

The biggest hidden increase, you can't even find.

They took Adaptive Steering out of the x01A option packages (for at least KR and Plat), left option packages the same price, and now charge $1000 for Adaptive Steering option.

Insult to injury, the Build&Config doesn't show this.

Further insult, if your dealer doesn't catch it and add it to your order, your order won't be built for now (see posts on build configs being held).

That was a temporary restriction that is no longer the case. When it shows up in the scheduling notes it’s literally for one week only. Adaptive steering (17a) is not required for platinum/kr trucks for the last 2 weeks of scheduling.

I just had this happen to me. Dealer added the Adaptive Steering +$1000 (unbeknownst to me). Then the sticker comes back with +$600 on the 701A package. Not sure why you sign off on a price with the dealer if it’s subject to change. I saw someone noted above their dealer warned them. I guess I’d be okay with the adding the adaptive steering knowing I’d be more likely to get my truck, but a package increase after agreeing to a price seems crazy.
