I have a couple of updates...
  • I've tried a few different pairs of sunglasses and the HUD is clearly visible with most of them.
  • The Sync 4 Navigation and Apple Maps directions (via Car Play) are shown in the HUD. Waze and Google Maps are not!

I love the KR, if I were to abandon my conservative spending habits and whip out the checkbook, the KR is the truck I would buy.

The low CCC is a killer if you actually need to do truck stuff.

This is odd: No added options, just the base packages. Screw, base engine, 6.5/6.75 bed.

A F250 XLT is about $500 less than a F150 XLT. $2200 less if you opt for the 6.8 vs 7.3.

A F250 KR is about 3k more than a F150 KR.
Wow! You are right! I've never even bothered to build out a F250 King Ranch before. And even after loading it up and adding a Tremor package to the KR (which is super cool that this is an option), it's "only" $85K. What a beast of a truck this would be.

I actually looked hard at a F250 King Ranch Tremor….but I wanted my truck to be my primary driver and as such wanted the powerboost MPG and house powering, so I went with the KR 150.

This is exactly what my reason was for picking the F150 PowerBoost and I'm very happy with my decision. ?

How do you know if you have CCD shocks?

The 2024 601A package includes CCD and you can add FX4 but it doesn't say anything about removing CCD. Same with the Build and Price for 2025.

So, how do we know if the truck has CCD?

If it's an FX4 it is NOT CCD. Couldn't think of a worse thing to blow $ on -- spending a grand to delete a tunable shock

That’s why I DIDN’T get the FX4 package, afterwards spending the “grand” (roughly) to get the Talon skid plate kit. I can definitely tell the difference in shock setup for the CCD when I change drive modes between normal, sport, and off-road especially!
