Hi there first post on this forum. I've owned lots of Fords, my last Ford 150 was a 2015 Lariat which was a great truck. I recently purchased a 2023 F150 limited with the v6 powerboost, it had about 35000km on it. Awesome power and tows like a beast.

I'm trying to make sense off all the lights and icons in the dash and looking through the online manuals there doesn't seem to be any info on the one I'm asking about here. It's on the lower left side of the screen just next to the zero where the Tac is. It's a drive train looking symbol with what appears to be the front and back wheels. It turns yellow and green. I'm not sure exactly what that means?

The drive train is a bit clunky at slow speeds in the parking lot which I figured was the hybrid system kicking in and out. I figured that was pretty normal and not a big deal. My other question is when I'm turning at slow speeds or parking the front wheels almost seem like they are engaging like i'm in 4wheel high even though I"m in 2wd. I hope that description makes sense. When my old truck in 2wd seemed to turn at slow parking type speeds much smoother.

Is this the hybrid motors kicking in and is it normal? I was going to take it in and tell them the 4wd seems to be on all the time, but i figured I'd ask the forum to see if it's normal. I don't want to go in and have them tell me i'm an idiot that's how it supposed to feel. hahaha

So yellow and green icon what does mean
and feels like 4wd when turning and trying to park.

Thanks

Last night I thought the icon turned to green, it appears to turn yellow and then grey.

That's your rear locker light. Not sure why it is changing colors.

Thank you so much!!! Truck is booked into the dealer tomorrow to have a look. I'm thinking that's why the truck feels like it is in 4wd at low speeds because the indicator is yellow and everything is locked...

Yep, that would do it. Like driving a drag car with a spool on the street.

The electronic locking differential is activated by pressing the button in the middle of the drive mode.

Sounds like you have the electronic diff lock turned on. Activated by the center "button" on your traction control unit. Click on, click off.
