Well, considering I am waiting on my 22 to be delivered........

Not in market for a 23. Unless Ford gets their head out of their ass and offers a RCBS Tremor or Raptor.

I don’t want a 23, but at this point I seriously doubt my 22 will get scheduled.

I’m wanting to know what the Lariat Sport interior will look like. Will it be the two tone color or will it be all black?

Agree. The wait for my 2022 sucked but glad I got in before all the forced deletes and at Nov 2021 prices.

I love my truck but I wouldn't pay 7k more for it even if had all its features. Paying 7k more for a truck missing key featues? That's insanity.

I wonder if any of those things could be Late Availability. Was considering a 2023 but starting to wonder if we're going to have to wait for Build 2s or 2024s

the way I read ordering guide is, good chance some of these feature will return at some point.

without multi contour seats, a big time no go for me.

"GEN15"?

I'd seriously consider selling my 21 now that they're going USED for $1k more than I paid but...

Deleting options?

And going through the "we're building it now, no, we're building it now, no, we're building it now.?... all over again and "oh, by the way you're going to have to cough up another $7k!" ?

Plus... they've got me roped in with the "0%" loan.?

NO THANKS!

I'll hang on to it until the Cybertrucks are rolling off the lines as originally planned.⚡
;)

Yeah - I ordered a KR “base” package right before the MY price increases in December. Built as a ‘22 and, since I didn’t do the MC seats nothing from my build got cut - but if I was getting things cut and being asked to pay more? Oh hell naw.

I don’t think that I could build my 2021 regular cab XLT as a 2023. I’ll know better when the online configuration tool is updated.

Some of the petty things like removing the glovebox light are the most egregious IMO.

I just was informed my 22 Limited is due here in less than a few weeks. They deleted the multicontour (F!) the park assist (m'kay) and the auto start/stop (hooray).

I am also baffled because they didn't list nor refund me for the Max Recline, so I don't know whether the vehicle comes with it. I doubt it but it's strange that they didn't list it as "Removed" as it was a line item option on my order.

I would be surprised if you did not have to wait until 2024's at best. With that said I believe Ford knows those seats were a wonderful selling feature for the highest end trucks. They will move heaven and earth to get them back into production as soon as possible, but it may not be up to them. You can only sell what you can dependably get.

It is still the two tone on the Sport Package, but they have added a couple of new colours.
“Lariat Sport Appearance Package (863) includes Vintage Carmine IP Topper, Door Top Roll and Console Armrest”

EXTERIOR
 New Exterior Colours
— Area 51 Blue (KU)
— Avalanche (DR)
— Azure Gray Metallic Tri-Coat (G4)
— Hot Pepper Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (EA)

Not saying I'm at all happy at losing max recline and active motion (massage) but at least we now know what 23MY has. I'll be spending more than $200K of my money to get a 23 KR in my hot little hands.

The problem with 24MY (if you can even wait that long) is that it's all unknown:
- will it be a major model refresh a là 20-21?
- will it just be cosmetic?
- will the coyote finally disappear to appease the epa?
- and any number of other concerns

if it's another major shift as 20-21 was, do you want to yet again be the Guinea pig for the new, unproven things??

$200k? wow. that's a lot.

As far as a refresh, I think if you see one you'll see more of a .5 increase like the 17-18 refresh of Gen13. I think that 3 years is too quick to do a major refresh. Year one is buggy, year 2 is less buggy, year 3 is almost perfect.... then do a little change (grill maybe?) something non-functional, and keep on with the less buggy versions for a few years to give you time to get the next gen ready.

I believe historically Ford has done 5-6 years (mainly 6) for each generation of trucks.
