For the XLT ordered in November the priority code shows 19 and for the STX ordered in May it shows priority code 10. What do they mean, and how do they affect the order? Thanks!
Priority codes are exactly that. What priority they are. A dealer can assign 10-19. 10 being the highest, 19 least

1-9 is assigned by dealer zone rep and higher up. A dealer can request a priority code higher than 10, but it is up to higher up to approve it.

Believe 19 is the slowest and is considered dealer stock. 10 is pretty good. Forgot specifically what it meant. You can google it though.
Dealer stock is 20-99

You can say that , but my order was set priority 19, as was the identical quote (the quote shows the priority number, as well as actual orders...) I got from Grainger.

I got my truck in under 60 days from the date I placed it, until the day it arrived at the dealer for me to pick up...

So your "priority 10" is a bunch of nonsense if you are waiting months.

Priority code 10 and up means nothing unless your dealer has allocation available.

That being said, I think Ford's allocation system is dumb as fuck. Small dealers get totally fucked over (which in reality fucks their customers) while bigger dealers get tons of orders scheduled, including their stock orders , ahead of small dealers orders for their non dealer stock orders. Bunch of fucking BS IMO. Orders should be pulled for customer orders in the order they're submitted. And they should be scheduled ahead of ANY dealers stock orders. It's pathetic what they do to their small volume dealers customers. ??

Maybe, but I bought my truck from a low volume dealer and got my truck in under 60 days... It's pretty obvious that people waiting months for their trucks have weird option combinations which parts shortages are causing the wait...

Like BAP, trucks with the 3.55 rear, powerboost, and i'm sure some others.
