Oh man, I did not mean to badmouth Granger. Chip is awesome and they have been great. No complaints whatsoever and, as my wife wants a bronco, will probably be ordering from them again soon.I fairness, you mentioned you ordered before I did - the situation may well not have been known to Chip at that time, the situation as far as constraints and delays has certainly evolved a lot since I placed my order.
IMO from following Granger threads on this forum that dealership does a heck of a job trying to stay on top of the situation, which is totally beyond their control, and passing what they know on to their customers.
But yes (and I know you realize this), even with that, folks are getting caught in various delays, holds, and 'forced removals' - totally beyond Granger's or any dealer's control.
I wish you the best of luck getting your truck as soon as possible.
That's a good point as well, when I ordered it was definitely a different circumstance. I also did update my order in February to add the BAP since I realized I was going to be waiting a while for the truck anyway, so that may have caused a further delay.
