Interesting. When I proactively asked to remove my Max Recline seats last week, I was told that would trigger a price increase. I'm guessing you're closer than I am.

That’s because you probably ordered before one or both of the price hikes. Changes to the order would trigger a new order and thus be subject to new pricing.

I made a couple of tweaks to my order at the same time I removed auto park assist and Chip said it wouldn't change my price (aside from the difference in features).

I removed the wheel well liners and added max recline.

But I thought I read that they're not providing scheduling updates anymore because it 'confused people.'

You're only going to be notified when your truck hits its blend week.

Email with VIN and initial build week(3/7/22) on 1/13/22.

Email with build date reschedule(3/14/22) on 2/11/22.

Email with build date reschedule(3/21/22) on 2/25/22.

"In Production" status on 3/24/22(same as blend date).

Chatted with Ford support 4/7/22 and they said my truck is on a chip hold with a delivery ETA on 5/4/22.

Email with VIN and initial build week(3/7/22) on 1/13/22.

Email with build date reschedule(3/14/22) on 2/11/22.

Email with build date reschedule(3/21/22) on 2/25/22.

"In Production" status on 3/24/22(same as blend date).

Chatted with Ford support 4/7/22 and they said my truck is on a chip hold with a delivery ETA on 5/4/22.

I don't really see the difference between it sitting un-driven in Michigan or my sitting in my driveway. Maybe it's because I'm in Colorado but I don't see that as a big issue if it's for a few weeks. Sure if it was there for months on end that is a different story.

Ordered 2022 Lariat Sport 501a 5.0 on 12/1/2021 and the blend date was 2/7/2022, built on 3/1/2022 and arrived at the dealership on 3/17/2022. Akins Ford in Winder, Ga. These guys were great to work with, 7th largest dealer in the nation. I live in Jacksonville, Fl and it was well worth going out of town for this purchase. Adding a picture not to rub it in, just proud of my trophy ? truck ?

I ordered from Koons in December. Last month, they asked me to remove Max Recline seats, spray in bedliner, and wheel well liners. I accommodated. Sadly, I am still not scheduled. My patience is starting to wear thin since I’m seeing newer Platinum Powerboost orders getting scheduled...and they have Max Recline seats! But there’s not much I can do. ?

Who @ Koons requested you remove those options?

I have asked Dexter a couple times if there were any options that were on constraint or no longer available. If there were then those might need to be removed to get my Platinum scheduled.

Very similar truck to yours. I ordered 12/29. Scheduled 3/24 for week of 5/2.

Latest news is Ford will no longer be emailing out VINs until your vehicle is in production to mitigate some of the complaints people have about their blend date changing 10+ times.

I love how Ford's response to customers complaining about lack of communication, is to communicate less....
