This generation is know for sticky IWE’s, there’s a few more posts on here regarding it, they’re all electronic now, no vacuum actuated garbage of yesteryear.

Try starting the truck and trying the axle moving with the wheel on both sides. I would go back to easiest things first, front - back tire rotation and test drive, then a dozen or so cycles on 4wd to 2wd on dirt with some decent reversing length going on. Used to have this issue with the older locking hub trucks and we would jack ALL 4 wheels in the air in neutral then spin em to unbind it, transfer case in N setting has similar advantages. If no results I would likely have a reputable mechanic have a peek.

I have also had issues with the top hat / strut steering bearing binding on a few other rigs, have a look at that when the wheel is turning and listen for god awful growling noises around the bearing area,
And you wouldn’t necessarily hear that in the cabin.

I doubt your angles are bad at that setting. Was just a thought. Alignment numbers look good. If your axles aren't turning when you jack it up in 2wd your IWE's are doing what they're supposed to.

It's been long enough that if something were hanging up and causing a bind, you might see it in your fuel mileage......any drastic changes you've noticed in that department?

I'm pretty much fresh out of ideas, and it sounds like you've triple checked for any install errors/issues. I'd say keep driving it, maybe cycle the 4wd once in a while on a nice straight shot of road, and monitor things. No other advice for you from me I'm afraid. Good luck!
Thanks sir. Thats the point I’m at with it. Time will tell.

Anything happen to a vacuum hose during the install?
That is simply a breathing tube like you'd find on a diff. It has no functionality purpose for the locking hub's operation. This is done due to the amount of air volume that builds up. If the assembly is hot and then is submerged into water cooling it down, without a vent it could pull water in through the seals.

Right on man! I was still under the impression the Gen 14 IWE was vacuum actuated, thanks to you and this thread I’m a little smarter. Always appreciate gettin’ learned! Cheers
