This generation is know for sticky IWE’s, there’s a few more posts on here regarding it, they’re all electronic now, no vacuum actuated garbage of yesteryear.
Try starting the truck and trying the axle moving with the wheel on both sides. I would go back to easiest things first, front - back tire rotation and test drive, then a dozen or so cycles on 4wd to 2wd on dirt with some decent reversing length going on. Used to have this issue with the older locking hub trucks and we would jack ALL 4 wheels in the air in neutral then spin em to unbind it, transfer case in N setting has similar advantages. If no results I would likely have a reputable mechanic have a peek.
I have also had issues with the top hat / strut steering bearing binding on a few other rigs, have a look at that when the wheel is turning and listen for god awful growling noises around the bearing area,
And you wouldn’t necessarily hear that in the cabin.
