There's plenty of literature on this, you do get a thicker frame, larger front anti roll bar, bigger rear brakes, heavier springs and 3/4 float axle rated for higher GAWR than standard F150. Powerboost comes with most of those items but always a smaller payload sticker than say a 3.5 or 5.0 max...

Couple things I remember researching before I bought my Max Tow in 2022 was thicker front stabilizer, springs a little heavier, upgraded cooling/ rad sizes, and thicker frame. The 5.0 with 3.73 is an excellent towing combo, with 36 gallons it gets great range towing.

The camera picks up a little darkness around the edges, not obtrusive in my opinion. I haven’t seen the bullnose before, wasn’t even on the website when I ordered mine, I think it would look awesome.

Dimensionally yes, there’s also a thickness = spring force ratio considerations, out of my realm but we use Fastenal(bolt suppliers…. Really good ones) up here in Canada, pretty sure it’s an American outfit. They really know nuts and bolts.

snake, totally agree with the “experimentation” belief, in fact your knowledge based implementation of a harder bolt and with less torque stretch on the threads is a great idea I’m interested in reading how this pans out. My .02$ on this is that the implementation of this 3/4 floating rear axle has been a fail in engineering. I think the simplest fix is not to pour more money in that engineering failure, rather replace it with a known working rear axle setup, my hope would be the full float from the <9800lbs...

Article from overseas says 600mm (23” in freedom units) for standard 4x4 F150, probably a bit higher in the tremor with lift and tire size. It’s a 4x4 tool, treat it as such, some folks need to cross rivers and others need it to crawl the mall’s on Saturdays.
