A PCM update will 100% wipe your tune. Depending on who your tuner is, that may be free and cheap fix, or it may not be.@rugedraw i see that there are PCM updates coming out lately. With me having a Ford Performance tune, do I need to be worried about "losing" my tune? I thought aftermarket tunes were getting deleted so I just wonder about the FP tunes. any insight?
I got the Ford Performance 3.5EB tune...A PCM update will 100% wipe your tune. Depending on who your tuner is, that may be free and cheap fix, or it may not be.
Good luck!Looks like I'll hook up the battery maintainer when I get home today.

6.7.0 here we go...
For that, the IPMA needs to be updated to a certain point for it to be able to work. However, that feature itself needs to be enabled with FORScan. It won't come automatically from an OTA.My 2021 XLT just got PT-25.15.5
Question: there was apparently some update that puts camera info on the screen when using turn indicators while towing (am I correct?) Is that an update that might (eventually) come to my 2021 XLT F150?
Ahhh! Thank you.For that, the IPMA needs to be updated to a certain point for it to be able to work. However, that feature itself needs to be enabled with FORScan. It won't come automatically from an OTA.
I Don’t know what gives on this update. So much for that...

Ford seems to have changed something in the OTA dashboard in terms of how it displays why an OTA is failing. It seems to be more cryptic now. It keeps saying "precondition error code 103". I have no idea what that means.I Don’t know what gives on this update.
I also can’t get it to complete after at least 4 tries and a charged battery. There are other factors than the battery charge.
I also seen reports of another update failing for some. Maybe Ford server side issues lately?
I have the option of using FDRS. But, with the increased cost, not knowing if the update will actually install and not knowing if I have other updates in the queue I might as well wait. I imagine it probably would not install with FDRS either.Ford seems to have changed something in the OTA dashboard in terms of how it displays why an OTA is failing. It seems to be more cryptic now.
