So, I canceled my order...

Here's the story: The original dealership seemed to be on top of things, but I still haven't received any confirmation email. I received an email about a private offer through Ford for $3000 on a new order. I asked if this could be applied and/or a new order placed so I could receive the rebate, but they wouldn't do it. So, I canceled the order and got my deposit back.

I then drove to another well-known dealer in my area and reordered the same truck with paperwork showing price protection and rebate/incentive protection. So now I have the truck on order for $3000 under the invoice price. Sometimes, it's worth playing the game. As I was sitting at the salesman's desk, I also received a confirmation email from Ford about the order being received. So now I know for sure the order is in the system.

Anyways, the new order date is 4/4/24. I will keep posting as I get updates for those following along or making orders after me.

Are these rebates something your getting in the mail, or are you just calling and asking the dealer and they keep adding them?

Well the first PCO for $3k was emailed to me directly. Then in the midst of getting a refund from the original dealer they tried “earning my business” by telling me that 24 F150 Lariats have a $2500 rebate and that can be locked in with the purchase.

So, I just called the second dealer I went with, (who should have been the first to be honest) and asked him to look into it. He found it, printed it out and put it in the folder with my order. It was available yesterday, I just didn’t look for it when I placed the order

I was told the rebates can be either locked in at the time of order, or use the ones available at delivery, just not both

Received a scheduled-to-be-built email this morning at 9 am.

Ordered: 4/4/24
Scheduled: 4/11/24---->Scheduled to be built the week of May 27th, 2024.

I hope to pick up my 2024 King Ranch sometime next week. Ford chat indicated delivery is anticipated the week of 4/15 and provided the rail car number for me to track. I reached out to my dealer, and he confirmed the delivery time frame.

So, ordered and confirmed on 2/14 and shipped on 4/6. If the delivery time frame is correct, that's about 9 weeks from order to delivery, give or take a day or two. Even my dealer was surprised how quick things moved along.

I placed an order yesterday for a 2024 King Ranch with the powerboost, max recline seats, and tow mirrors. I received the confirmation email from Ford with the order number shortly after it was placed.

I ordered 2/8 from Granger Ford and I am still waiting to be scheduled. I had to call Ford Credit today and extend my lease on my 2021 F150 by two months. It now ends 8/1 instead of 6/1. Zack from Granger advised I am Priority 10 as of 5/1/24.
