A couple of easier ways:

1. Work out your tyre circumference in mm; π x dia. x 0.967 and use easy mode for the BCM to enter the tyre circumference in mm. Then run the "PCM reset all adaptations" in service procedures (spanner icon). If you end up with a DTC in the PCM, you need to use a smaller number in mm. This is because the PCM has a hard-coded limit for tyre size.

2. Work out the percentage you are out on the speedometer compared with a GPS app on your phone. Modify the above BCM setting for tyre circumference by that percentage. Then run the "PCM reset all adaptations" in service procedures (spanner icon). If you end up with a DTC in the PCM, you need to use a smaller number in mm for the same reason as above.

Never mind. All is well. Found my error.
Reading through this Forscan thread and wondering what was your error for the Glare free headlights? I am new to forscan but will be making a few changes. Thank you

Has anyone come up with a code that deletes "cylinder deactivation" yet?
No, and it's very unlikely to ever be done by FORScan configuration. It's controlled by the PCM in an area where configuration doesn't see. Tuners can get rid of it I believe.

2022 xl here. Having trouble getting parking lights on with drls. I have been able to turn low beams off with drl. I’ve also enabled turn lamps with drl. End goal is to have turn lamps/parking lamps on with drls. I have livinitup’s spreadsheets. Just no luck.

DId you reboot the modules after making the changes?

FORD F150 Lightning 2023 XLT 311A
Yesterday, I went was able to get all of the software updates at the dealer related to the phone connection issues TSB. After getting the updates, I pulled the latest as-built data from Ford to compare to what they had before the updates. I noticed a curious value change in the APIM that doesn't show in the current sheet.

7D0-05-01 xx*x xxxx xx-- Changed from 0 to 1.

The only values shown in the spreadsheet are 0,4,8, and C. This means that the lowest bit is unused in the known settings. I'm assuming that this means the latest APIM is using that bit for a setting, but have no reference as to what it is. Since I have added the front sensors and CCM to my truck, I've added the adaptive cruise control features. So, instead of 8, I have updated to a 9 with the assumption that I'm keeping whatever that other bit is supposed to be set to. I only got the updates in last night, so I haven't had time to test anything yet.

Does anyone else have an idea of what a 1 would mean on that byte of the APIM as-built values?
Hi JayRay, Good Morning

Im seeing the same "1" value for FORD Lightning XLT 2023 311A trim. Trying to do prep for Adaptive Cruise Control changes.

7D0-05-01 values [0D16] [0400] [0004]

Did updating this to "9" worked fine for you ?

Just an ignition cycle and then re-read bdycm to confirm changes were made. Same as I have done for all other changes. Feel free to message me if I need to try another way. Thanks.

I make changes and then reboot the module that those changes are a part of. For instance the radio splash screen will not change unless the module is rebooted.

Hi,

Just been doing some work with replacing a 2023 North America TCU with a Europe TCU for Fordpass to work. I noticed that the the Adressess on the North America TCU go up to 754-18-(01 to 08). Your spreadsheet doesn't show these addresses. Do you know what these addresses are for?

Thanks

It could be the TCU has older software on it that doesn't include those addresses.

The Australian TCUs have a shorter 718 address but an additional 719 address. So I think @rugedraw is correct or it's just different firmware / software for the different regions and eSIM requirements.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I updated it to 9. I assume that bit is set for something useful in the latest software updates. I just don't know what it is for. Adaptive cruise is working incredibly well on my truck since adding it.

Looking at the code list I understand that the * indicates the digit that needs to be changed. I noticed that at the end of every one of them it is "xx--" what goes where the -- is? Or does that not get touched?
Don't worry about the dashes; it's a checksum (a mathematical sum of all the prior hex digits in that line) that FORScan will calculate for you.

The end is checksum you do nothing there it is auto generated.
