On my 25 I can show engine temp through the stock cluster settings. It’s buried in the menu somewhere. I would figure the 24 would be the same way.
yea I have that. I would just prefer to see it all the time. I think it looks nicer

It is there all the time. You have to dig down through the settings and it’s in there to have degrees over the “dial” gauge.

If there is a way to do this with the steering wheel over the dash please attach a video that shows how.

2025 F150 Lariat PB
Hi all, first time using forscan and I'd like to get a sanity check. For most values, does 2025MY match 2024MY?

I'm attempting to add HDC and rock crawl mode to my 2025 Lariat PB 502A. I've read through all similar posts and can't get any of the three associated changes to apply.

  • IPC Module: Setting Hill Descent Control: Disabled > Enabled (EASY mode) == No changes, HDC button does nothing.

  • ABS Module: 760-04-01 (xxxx xx8x xxxx) (AS BUILT format) [Originally 0] == No Changes. >> Check Engine comes on, goes away after DTC clear, cannot get Rock Crawl mode to appear at all

  • ABS Module: 760-03-01 (Bxxx xxxx xxxx) (AS BUILT format) [Originally 9] == Scary Mode. >> Everything seems to freak out, ABS TC etc all disabled, Mode select disabled, DTC faults galore. I had to revert back and clear DTC faults.
I can pull DTC logs for each module that gets flagged for each of the three items above if that would help at all.

Edit: Here are the errors I receive. I'm being told now that the only way to get this to work is to side load a 'F10A' file from a truck with HDC to enable it, but this may cause issues with authetnication to FDRS. Not sure who or how I can get this done.

SOBDMC: P1A40 - ABS Control Module Configuration Not Complete
SOBDMC: U0318 - Software Incompatibility With Brake System Control Module 'A'
ABS: U2100 - Initial Configuration Not Complete
ABS: U2101 - Control Module Configuration Incompatible
ABS: U3001 - Control Module Improper Shutdown Performance
IPMA: U0121 - Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module 'A'

I figured this out. MY2025 has additional values in the ABS Module that are not documented in the known spreadsheet. The values above no longer apply to MY2025. I've posted my findings here:

Wish to show Battery Voltage but not sure what the vistual gauges do? any thoughts. This is my second month using Forscan. TIA

You can try using A as the value to enable those two. I don't think it applies to our trucks as the sheet covers modules common to many ford vehicles, but if it perchance does, put a pic up of the cluster for us 🙂

@SilverPigeon how do I find the values for the led running lights percentage at night? I used the known 25% values and the 50% posted previously but found one was still a little too dim and the other was too bright. I would like to know how to find the various values for 30% and 40% but not sure how.

30% = 1E, 40% = 28. It's just using the percentage as a decimal (base 10) number and converting it to hexadecimal (base 16).

Appreciate it! I need to learn this hexadecimal stuff out or curiosity.

The problem with "easy mode" is that it's sometimes hard to find a change it makes, and sometimes doesn't work at all. There are 3 BLIS-related settings; 2 are of interest here:

720-03-01*xxxxxxxxx--Shift By Wire (SBW) • Side Detect (SD) •
Sidemarker/Position Lamp Telltale (SPLT) • Speedometer Cal (SC)
SD uses the BLIS radars to provide the cross traffic alert when reversing. It is probably already enabled.

720-10-02**xxxx--00 =PT Hybrid_2 (PTH) • Power Liftgate Handsfree Menu (PLHM) • Blind Spot Assist Warnings (BSAW)
BSAW is the more likely candidate for you to experiment with. You are probably already set to 00 or 02. If 00, set to 01; if 02 set to 03. Reboot the IPC (to be sure), clear and rescan DTCs and if all is well, go for a test drive.
Hey there,
I tried this and it didn't work. No change. My original ** was 02 and I changed it to 03.

What I want to accomplish is either visual in the instrument or Audio warning of the Blind Spot. But maybe its not possible.
Yes I do get the Audible and Visual on the Cross Traffic Alert which is great.

yeah, BSAW is the only thing that could possibly do it that I've found. It's probably not implemented on our trucks; there are modules in the spreadsheet that exist in multiple ford vehicles and it's probably for another ford model.
