2024 IPMA:

There were never any other front views at speed apart from off-road view at speed. The capability is there.
Is the off-road view need to switch to off road mode? Or available in other mode?

see above edit for an additional IPMA setting, but they're all the same as 2023. Off-road views at speed will only show in the following modes:
- deep snow / sand
- mud / ruts
- rock crawl.
Tremor and Raptor may show them in additional off-road drive modes.

Thanks. So mine might be working, I just didn't test it in the off road mode

I’m trying to get my parking lights to stay on all the time (because I’ve tied vent lights to them), similar to a raptor light install.
I’ve checked these settings, and they all seem to be correct, but my parking lights still turn off shortly after starting the vehicle.
any ideas what I could do? 2025 XLT

These are the settings that will leave the DRLs on regardless of headlamp switch position. Your current problem is auto lamps which, when you change the switch, leaves DRLs off. I did these all on my '23 and except for the last one (which was located at a different BCM address), they are the same.

As an update, I finally figured out how to get AutoHitch working. Another required Forscan change is in the PCM. Mine was set less the trailer hitch guide. When I enabled this and took the truck for a short drive, auto hitch started working after that point. The truck backed up and put the hitch ball exactly where it needed to be to connect the trailer.

Hi all, I am also trying to get hitch assist to work on my 2021 job 1 PB. My truck took the pcm, abs and apim changes fine (apim was actually already set), but I am having a problem with the ipma. When I switch the value I immediately get a pre-collision assist not available error that won’t clear. DTC shows an error code U2101. I can get the hitch assist menu to show up with it enabled but looking for ideas to resolve this conflict?

@eventhrzn80:
1. What are the details of the IPMA DTC? Post a screenshot of them.
2. Precisely what change are you making in the IPMA for auto hitch? Before value and after value.

The IPMA variable I am changing is this one from 1 (current) to 5. I tried 4 as well and that had the same problem.

5 is correct for that position in the IPMA. You also have a DTC in the PSCM. Likely that is related as the PSCM is required for steering input for auto hitch, PTBA etc. So:
1. what are the details of the PSCM DTC?
2. Do you have Pro trailer backup assist? What do you have for PSCM:
730-02-02xxxxxxxx**--TBA: 00=TBA Disabled 01=TBA Standard Enabled 02=TBA w/5th Wheel Enabled 03=TBA w/TRG Enabled 04=TBA w/5th Wheel and TRG EnabledTBA=Trailer Backup Assist TRG=Trailer Reverse Guidance

This is the PSCM DTC. I can clear this one after the change but not the IPMA one.

Well, no probs with the PSCM DTC. 03 is correct if you have Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

Take a current backup of your IPMA, add a .txt to the end of the file name and pm it to me if you want me to take a look when I can (a day or two).

Your truck being an a 2021 may be on old IPMA software that is not compatible with that you are trying to do. Tbh, I am not sure if the IPMA needs to be at certain revision to do this like is the case for other things to be enabled, but it is a possibility to be considered.

Great news! I was able to figure out the issue.

I noticed an inconsisent setting for the Trailer Light Module. 706-04-01 *xxx was set to F which said Trailer Light Module was present. 706-18-01 xxxx xxx* was set to 4 which said it was not present. I changed this to C, then turned auto hitch on, and it works and there are no error messages on the dash or DTCs. Turning auto hitch on must have exposed this existing inconsistency.

Thanks everyone for the help.

Hello @SilverPigeon

Hello, I tried this and nothing changed. I even tried exiting/locking/unlocking my truck but chimes didn’t disable. Then I went inside the easy menu and disabled these items but no luck still, When I made the easy menu change I went back inside the asbuilt menu and the value matched with your values above. Not sure what am I doing wrong but chimes aren’t going away. Maybe it will take few drive cycles?

Usually not. There is one more change you can make:
720-01-02xxxxx*--
Change from 0 to 2. This changes the seatbelt warning market to be like Europe instead of NA. Reboot the IPC afterwards and test.

By the way do all chime tests with the headlamps turned to off; sometimes people still hear chimes when it's the headlamp / park lamp on warning.
