The easiest way is to do a compare and investigate on all PTBA differences by using a ford asbuilt file. Since my PTBA is configured, Dom, can you download your asbuilt from ford if you haven't got it already, and add .txt to the end of the filename and pm me with it? Or pm me your VIN so I can download it from ford?

I have some ideas after scanning through the FORscan spreadsheet. But I would be interested in comparing AB files, since your PTBA is working.

Somewhere after mid 2023 (when I last pulled my boat trailer... a sad tale of little rain in central Texas, low lake levels and closed public ramps) my configuration for PTBA got messed up. Nor can I save a trailer configuration and the trailer brake controller is unresponsive (no braking or gain).

As a job 1 2021 F150 I got the box from Ford. Worked ok. Using FDRS, doing many updates, and using Forscan I got both the stickers and the box working on 2023-1-13 for PTBA. Also had Auto Hitch (truck positions the trailer ball under the trailer) working at that point.

Starting in 2023-4-15 I started getting OTA 4.2.1 and ending with OTA 4.2.6 on 2023-10-6. I suspect OTA 4.3.3 that arrived 2023-6-2 messed things up . So a while back I did an asbuilt comparison between my truck and a friends because he has everything working and pulls an RV. Looking at APIM, IPMA, IPC, BCM and TRM changes between our 2 trucks I came up with these differences that appear to be trailer related and I show my friends values. I don't know what all of them impact as the spreadsheet is vague on some of them...

Hopefully you can use some of this work to supplement your analysis. If you want to pull my asbuilts to further compare my vin is 1FTFW1ED5MFB13052. Working VIN from my friend's 2023 is 1FTFW1ED3PFA05615.

Let me know if I can help anywhere... One day I would like to get PTBA, trailer configuration memory and the brake controller working again.

I have a 12" cluster and tried the Raptor Gauges edit last night. Unfortunately no success as the gauges remained the same. Not sure what else needs to be present to make that work.

The Raptor IPC has different software; it won't work on anything else.

No have never used it. I thought you guys were just kinda polling to see what everybody has for a setting.

No worries, lots of modules involved so complete asbuilt comparisons are the go.

My 2021 got an OTA update, and now the annoying chimes are back.

The one I can't seem to get rid of is when you open the drivers door to get in, it instantly starts the do-dee-do chime. Here is what I have for my IPC, and I have rebooted afterwards.

Sooooo ... a temporary case of rectal-cranial inversion.

Determined that for some reason, my headlights were moved from AUTO to ON, and that is the reason the truck was chiming at me.

Removed head from butt, put lights back on AUTO, chimes have stopped.
