so is mine so that's not it And I can't see anything else it could be. Have you rebooted the ACM and APIM modules?

I have. It didn't fix it. This is actually the As-Built the APIM came with. If I flash the one I had saved from the original APIM, the satellite radio stops working and it comes up "Hardware Problem".

Where did you get the APIM from?

From eBay. It's from a 2024 F-150. My ACM is from a 21-22. Maybe that could be the issue?
Oh for sure. If the APIM you bought is not the correct p/n or does not have the right software on it, there could be some incompatible software preventing things from working the way they should. Same applies to the ACM. These Sync 4 vehicles are very picky about the parts you swap into them. That's why these APIM you buy from companies like Infotainment are pricey. It is imperative they are properly programmed to the vehicle you put them into.

As a matter of fact, if your truck sync up with the mothership, it could corrupt the data on the server with the software on the APIM you put in and cause problems with future updates.

Yeah they sure are picky. I've changed so many things on this truck it's not funny. Added 12" radio screen, was 8" factory, swapped out the HVAC to auto, changed instrument cluster from analog to the digital.

Well, if you did this Frankenstein-style by just throwing random parts and modules on it, chances are there are several things that are not playing nicely with each other. I see people doing this on the Facebook groups all the time and think that just because every thing turns on, that it's all good. They have no idea the can of worms they are opening up. Once the vehicle syncs up with the server and the part numbers and software versions don't match, it's a cluster-f*ck.

Especially trying to bring 24 parts into the mix!! A cheaper headache is available. :headbang:

@owensri2 did you put a 24 HUD dash into your truck!?!?

How many parts exactly from a 24 have you put into your 22 or which vehicle are you working on because you're rather scant on details.

Haha, I have a 24 F-250 XLT. No heads up display. Only thing that is from a 21-23 is the ACM and the HVAC modules. Wanted an earlier HVAC module because it displays the temp on the dials.

Not too worried about the HVAC or ACM. However, the APIM and IPC not matching what is supposed to be there can and will eventually break updates on the server-side.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to live with that. If I were to get the right parts for this model year, would it still mess it up? Because obviously the As-Builts have been modified.

It's not just the correct part number; it must be on matching software, too. That is the tricky part because you can't what software is on it until you put it in the vehicle.

Yeah that makes sense. I'll be happy if I just get the ACM and APIM communicating properly and the volume display/speed compensated volume working again. It works when I flash the original APIM As-Built but I he satellite radio stops working.

Ignoring the elephant in the room, which is the software mismatch, I would load your original As-Built and then just make the changes for enabling SiriusXM found in the thread below.
