I have a Job 1 2021 that has Dynamic Hitch Assist listed on my window sticker but I don’t have Active Park Assist. I made the Forscan changes and the option is now available and my truck sees the trailer coupler and places the green circle properly. However when I put the transmission in neutral as instructed I get an error message and the screen tells me to place the transmission in park. It seems to me the active park needed for dynamic hitch assist is what is failing.

Aron, so did you physically replace your 2022 IPMA with a 2021 IPMA? How would you know it had the active park chip? I would think that Ford would have one standard IPMA and activate the features purchased (like active park assist) with software. The 2022 and 2023 IPMAs are different due to the chip shortage…

I get the same issue you are getting with these settings.

APIM
To Mod: 7D0-01-03 xxxx xxFx xx

ABS
To Mod: 760-03-01 xx3x -- Autohitch

IPMA
To Mod: 706-01-01 xxxx xx5x xx-- ModuleFeatureCfg_AH

After the failure I checked DTCs and there is one in the IPMA.

Code: U100B - Semi-Automatic Parallel Parking System

Additional Fault Symptom:
- Signal Plausibility Failure

Status:
- Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

Module: Image Processing Module A

Freeze Frame #1:
-EVENT_TIME: 52092983 s (Thu Feb 23 14:51:04 2023) - Event time
-TOTAL_DISTANCE: 39368 km - Total Distance
-OUTDOOR_TEMPERATURE: -1 °C - Outside temperature
-ECU_POWER_SUPPLY: 14.5 V - ECU Power Supply Voltage

I don't really know what a "Signal Plausibility Failure" is but I seem to have one.

So i loaded up FORscan on my new to me 21 F150 Platinum today and got some interesting results. I had some DTC's but most were old after clearing them I only had 1 that left me with some concern

IPC - U2100 - Initial Configuration Not Complete

Any way to fix this with FORscan or do i need jump on the FDRS and expensive mongoose cable bandwagon?

Does a battery charger/maintainer need to be hooked up when using FORscan?

My first session with Forscan, an extended one, I had a 2 amp charger hooked up and I still ran it down to where it would not turn on the interior lights and I thought I had messed something up. Now that I am more efficient and only have a few items at a time, I have not found the need.

2 amps is not going to cut it .
i take my time and double check every thing so i can go from 80% soc to 50 really fast with truck in the ON mode, i have found watching the voltage on lower corner on forscan, that it is a real dead on eye opener at how fast it goes from 12.7 to 12 .

plus when you have to turn truck OFF to reset then back on, the headlights go back to auto and can come on, so you have to catch that .
if i plan a longer than a quick minute look , i put on the charger at 15 amps and then let it fully charge afterwards, IMO our batteries are on the short side of capacity, so giving them a boost is time well spent

After having to continually turn the headlights back off after Forscan ignition on/off’s, I finally just did the Forscan mod that keeps the headlight switch where it was previously before a restart. Works great, other than there has now been a few times where I have accidentally left it off while driving. Not when dark thankfully. Now I kinda like having the switch always stay where I leave it.

I also make sure my radio and HVAC are completely off while doing Forscan.

Wait, so it is actually available on the '23 F150? Like, you set it and the truck drives itself back up to the trailer automatically, no driver input?

It seems like more often than not, the feature in FORscan is directly related to the proper feature name, so I would expect it to be at least (THA) if not fully listed as Trailer Hitching Assistance. Always exceptions, but I would think this (Autohitch) is something else.

Also, it could be a feature that will come OTA and the current modules just don't have the programming. I find that highly probable instead of just nuking the feature if it was already there.
Haven't read through the whole thread- but has it been confirmed that Pro Trailer Hitch Assist is available on the '23 F150 equipped with Pro Trailer Backup Assist? It looks like it should be based on Ford's '23 F150 configurator. I should be getting mine here in a few weeks and can confirm- just figured someone already has?:

If I wanted to flatten out the EQ on my Lariat, would I be changing the setting in ACM or DSP? Only asking because my DSP settings don't look anything like the spreadsheet. 22 Lariat with B&O.

I’m wondering the same thing? I installed a trailer brake controller, enabled the FORScan setting, and see the expected messages in the instrument cluster. However looking at FORScan/DTC I have the same code.

Any one out there know if that’s what we need to do?

Thanks!

Mine is set to flat on the ACM already, so maybe just the DSP. Although, I do not know if "unconfigured" is the same as "flat" within the DSP.

Has anyone reprogrammed the APIM for an 8" screen to an F250 and successfully turned on the soft heated steering wheel button on the sync screen?
