I have a few things I want to do next.
One of them is getting pro hitch assistance working. I'm having trouble finding the main discussion. I understand that Noone has yet gotten it to work correctly but I have a few more ideas. I load and pull trailers every singe day so i have a natural procedure to keep trying a few things. I got my single engine airplane to auto land using ford's sensors and modified module when everyone said I can't be done. Took 18 months and I'm still breathing
I just can't find what thread or location the discussion was.
I am pretty anal when I get faced with a challenge. I will have to admit that I need to take a bow to jessi. I thought I could work through challenging tasks well but he's an animal. Anyone that can take a XLT and turn it ino a limited gets my respect. Snakebitten is right up there too.
Here's the link to that post for everyone else.

Yea, go figure out the obstacle for pro hitch assist! :)

I'll be impressed with the tenacity that one I suspect will require.
No hurry though. I don't care how long it takes. Lol

Did you do it? Nine steps are really not bad. I just spent days doing some major work that involved replacement and custom programing of my ipma.
Yep, I got it all working as far as I can tell. I didn't get to drive it much last night before it got real dark, so didn't really notice much, other than the Auto Headlight symbol on dash is now green.

Only think left I haven't figured out yet is how to get heated steering wheel icon up on the climate bar.

I don't have antiglare active but my headlights auto dim and swivel already. What does antiglare do additional?

I'm wondering why do people need the heated wheel icon on the screen when it's got its own hard button?

Thank you both!

And I will literally Venmo money to whoever figures out how to turn down the sensitivity OR disable the head/eye monitor for Blue Cruise. My goodness it’s sensitive and finicky.

Does anyone know of any settings to get the interior panel lights off when the truck is on? Even with lights off and the dimmer on “low” (it barely does anything) there’s quite a bit of ambient light. Plus all of my controls are still lit up.

On the police interceptors there’s a “dark mode” where you can have every interior light off and it’s awesome. That’s what I’d like to have.
One can only imagine why one needs to sit in the truck in complete darkness. Lol. Just kidding

Thanks!

And you just showed me what you guys meant by "corresponding sheet"

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I have used Forscan and the infamous Livnitup spreadsheet more times than I can remember, but never ventured further than the common page. (except for the VDM module)

I just experienced my Forscan wallah moment. ?
I'm lost. What is the corresponding sheet?
I've been over this set of strings a dozen times. I read every one contribution but I cab get my head wrapped around the proper bits to set. You guys say to get the bits from the sheet. What am I missing.

It's probably just a language issue between Excel users VS Google Sheet.

In Excel, I always called them "tabs", similar to what's at the top of browser. But someone can also call each tab a sheet.

There can be multiple sheets in a spreadsheet, so to speak.
Forscan spreadsheet has different sheets/tabs for each module. But the primary sheet/tab has all the common, most sought after edits. You can edit a LOT of things on your truck and never even open a secondary sheet/tab. I'm proof of that, as I stated with a blush.

Oh. I open up the sheet at the top of this list. It displays about 20 or so mods. Are you saying that there is additional pages I'm not seeing?

Edit... I see the tabs now.
So to try to catch up it has been established that only three modules are used?
Ipma
Apim
Abs

Ipma needs hard reset
Drive time needed to self calibration

Where my thoughts are the reason so many issues are with proper setup of trailer assistance. I have a 2022 platinum.
Alot of discussion here was from some that tried without a hitch. Others without doing the primary trailer calibration. And one more with a hitch installed but the ball was 90 degrees off.
I was working with jessi on a project that while apa was working I lost bluecruse. I had successfully completed the camera and lane calibration. Or so the truck said so.
It just wasn't accurate enough to activate BC. When I redid the calibrations. It worked.
On my 2016 I had to calibrate my reverse camera 3 times in order to get trailer backup working. Each calibration said successfully completed.
I have other ideas also.

night and day difference at night
glare free keeps the lane and everything around it on HIGH beam while turning down the brightness aimed at the oncoming car drivers HEAD area
i drive a 44 mile route every morning, leave at 2 -2 15 am and get back home around 3 - 310 am
it makes my dark as a well drive that much better and safer IMO
you can see the side of the roadway easier imo

I did the forscan changes. No dtc and there is a menu to turn on glare free in settings. I have three different setting when pushing the turn signal foward
1 Just running lights
2 Headlite symbol green with A in middle
3 Blue high beams

What setting allows for anti glare?

If I set to manual high it's just that? Full time high?
I went driving tonight and didn't see any changes. Might have been too bright.

look at it this way -
you are not changing the light bulb in your house (stairs/rooms/walkway)
you are just changing the way order you are turning them on, and as a result, you may trip, because the light is not on and you could not see the lego on the floor
I appreciate the analogy (and hate those legos!). You rewire light switches (key fob) and lights (door locks) operate differently. But the light switch (key fob) can only operate the ceiling fan (windows) if the wiring is there to control it. Did Ford program in the connection between keyfob and windows or was the connection determined by using FORscan to change values after the fact? If the latter, are there potentially other value combinations we haven't discovered yet?

Green “A” is glare free enabled. Light switch dial has to be on auto.

Even with glare free enabled, you can still manually force old school permanent high beams on (push stalk forward) or pull the stalk back for a flash.

When the stalk is not in manual high beam mode and you just have the green A, the high beams will come on automatically when you reach a certain speed (can’t recall like 30’ish mph?) and when it’s dark enough, and when there isn’t a bunch of cars and stuff around. Also, when the glare free high beam does come on (and off), it’s gradual. Which is one of the best parts of it. So it’s not quite a noticeable as old school manual high beams that have the instant flash of brightness. It will ramp up and down slower.
