Do you know if you can turn on the telescoping function for tow mirrors with Forscan? The instructions say to use the FDRS software.

I haven't personally tried on this gen but you should be able to enable them in DDM/PDM here:

Anybody figure out how to disable the "stow work surface" alarm in the gauge cluster? My bench-seat truck sets the alarm off EVERY time when the center console is folded up into seat-mode. I'm aware I'm in the minority on this one since everyone has the fancy shifter in the middle but it's SUPER annoying.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned here, but has anyone figured out how to disable to active air dam on these trucks via ForScan? Mine has been malfunctioning and I want it gone but I don’t want it throwing a check engine light. Maybe copying the data off a tremor?

I drove mine with the AAD unplugged for a few days. I have now removed the AAD completely as I've installed a DV8 front bumper. A code is stored in the ECM, but no CEL is on.

I was after the same, I just took mine off completely and it throws a code but not a CEL on the cluster so good enough for me for now. I even asked @Livnitup if he knew anything as I figured the options might be in the PCM, but I even tried to compare mine to a Tremor and didn't find anything relevant that would disable it.

Oddly, mine is throwing a CEL over the air dam.

Hmm interesting, it must be the fact you have a powerstroke then if I had to guess, different PCM. Your best bet then might be to take it off, but then rip off the motor part and leave it plugged in and tied up someplace just to make it happy?

Yeah, I can’t even change my tire size because of the difference PCM. It’s annoying. I cleared the CEL and will see if it comes back.

So similar question for 7D0-09-05 xxxx-xxxx-xx-- ... no description info for the last two hex positions but there are settings in both the Lightnings I've checked.

I'm only asking cause I have no idea where this info comes from or how it's derived.

The Lightning and the Mach-E use the same APIMs and have the same 15" screen. In the settings menu for the vehicle on the Lightning there is a Key Detection Alert setting just above the Easy Entry/Exit menu option. That Key Detection Alert is the same thing as enabling or disabling double-honk. So the goal is figuring out the differences in the APIM settings between the two to apply that to the Mach-E.

Curious as to why you don’t just remove it and silicone over plugs? No error codes.
