2 week vacation - trickle charge or not?

Short answer: Split for a non-Ford battery. It'll save you time and frustration. I got a NAPA H-7 three years ago. Not a peep since across three Wyoming winters (EG-20ºF with regularity, sometimes colder).

I’ve not driven my truck for five weeks and never even gave it a second thought. You will be fine. If you are ready worried about it and do not want to run a cord you could always disconnect the battery

I was notified by Ford pass that my battery had gone into deep sleep mode after a week while it was plugged in to a NOCO charger. But it started just fine after 2 weeks. After I replaced the battery I was notified that battery had gone into deep sleep mode after 1 week. It also started fine after 2 weeks.

When in doubt, put the trickle charger on it. It won't hurt anything.

I’m going on a 2 week vacation and no one at home will be driving my truck (2024 POWERBOOST) while I am away. I’m not keen on running an extension cord to under the hood while I’m away unless it’s truly needed.

I do have a small Noco smart battery charger. Should I connect it while I am away?

I left mine for 3 weeks last summer while I was away. No issues on return

I did a three week off period. No issues on starting up at the end. Now warnings or anything!
