As you may have seen though, I haven't exactly asked much for my vehicles I've sold on there.

back then most short box 4x4 were 4.9 5 speeds
Hah, sorry I didn't mean to be a downer. Been a rough day and I was just venting a bit. Selling stuff online is a PITA but you have a beautiful OBS truck and there's definitely a market for that kind of thing. I had an '88 RCLB as my first vehicle and despite being a clapped out ex-work truck it still holds a special place in my heart. Thanks for the "encouragement!", exactly what I want to avoid and what I'm finding.

Sorry I wasn't clear in my post. I wanted my reserve to be $1,500 higher to $15,000 and they wouldn't accept that value. I could be wrong but I believe I read they had the right to purchase the reserve price if it wan't met. Anyway good luck with your sale.I just checked, and I do not see anything giving them the right to buy it. However, if your truck is anything like you described it you are right to walk away. $1500 is not a high reserve at all for one of those trucks in really good shape.
That is incorrect, BAT does not buy vehicles.I could be wrong but I believe I read they had the right to purchase the reserve price if it wan't met.
I stand corrected. And V8 said he didn't see that either. That is incorrect, BAT does not buy vehicles.
What does happen when a vehicle fails to meet reserve is that, if both parties agree, BAT will provide contact information for the seller and the highest bidder (and only the highest bidder) to negotiate a sale directly between themselves after the close of the RNM (Reserve Not Met) auction.
