Very nice. Any possible chance you could upload the plain STL file for it? Orca is being argumentative because the file's embedded gcode for a different printer.
Cura and Meshmixer also return errors. Cura returns a no mdels found and meshmixer returns just a file error message. Both programs should open a 3mf file

Thought about getting one but the wife would kill me if I spent that kind of money on a new printer lol.
Until she realizes you can make her things. When I bought my first it was a "waste" then it was could you make omthing to hold the measuring cups on the cabinet door. Could you make astand for this.

I currently have 3. Two active and one put away on the shelf. Just finished a vortex dust sperator for the media blast cabinet.

Oh she knows I can make all sorts of things with it, so far the only thing I have designed and printed for her that she actually uses is a hanging mount for her phone in the shower so she can listen to her audio books. lol.

Everything else so far it's been "oh that's pretty cool" then never touches it again. :cautious:

Perfect if we can make this happen I wouldn't mind printing a few extra sets for people on here that don't have access to a printer.

We can figure something out with shipping for those who may be interested.
So, for those of us with no access to a printer........?

I printed these and can’t get the spring out far enough to slide them inside place.

I did ASA, but PETG is just fine, too.
I believe on the 23+ they may have made the spring tighter or with more resistance, I had to fight to get the passenger side in.

Recommendation is to use a small screwdriver to get a quarter/nickel in place. Then switch to a larger screwdriver to give you the leverage to fit these in place.

If anybody wants these printed but doesn’t have a 3D printer, I’ll drop some in the mail for $5-10 for some postage & beer money.

They were tough to get, especially with you lying across the front seats. Took me some time, but I finally got them. Ended up scratching the panel underneath some, but it's hidden anyway.

I can vouch the rawfuls. He sent me some and they worked great.

Definitely tough, but they worked great when installed! On my '22 needle nose pliers worked best (grip tightly) then using my other hand to place the spacer in. It might be easier to do it from the opposite side, I found the driver side easier to install from the passenger seat. Took me about 15 minutes of struggling to finally get it.

If I was doing this again I'd probably try vice grips and/or get a second person on the other side to help place them.

Buying more stuff for this truck
I had rawfuls print me out a few of these. He was very generous to print them and send them to me.
Here is my review of them.
Super cool of someone to design these and share it with the community.
The spacer worked pretty well. The lid is still a bit sloppy on my truck after the install. It has helped, but it's about equal to my nickel penny stack that I was using.
I recommend using a bright color if you plan to print these. Rawflus sent me a light blue spacer and a couple of black ones. The blue definitely helped me see the spacer while installing it. The black just blended in.
It was a pain getting the spring lifted up to slide the spacer in. The spacers are very small and hard to keep the channel that the spring sets into oriented.
I'd like to see a tab added to the print. Some kind of removable (or not) tab that would allow you to hold the spacer in the proper orientation while you lifted the spring. I dropped the spacer a few times trying to get it in place.
Maybe if this continues on, the O.P. could modify the print to help us fat-fingered folks out.

I'm super thankful to all who have helped this thread.
I just wanted to give my feedback

Making a break-away tab actually is not a bad idea.
If anybody else needs one of these printed, I can include that moving forward - just PM me.
A layer or two tail would be easy to add and if you have flush cutters, removing the tail would be very clean.

I also had a very tough time installing the passenger side, my uneducated guess is that Ford made changes to the spring 2023+. Mine opens and bounces a bit on the initial but is MUCH firmer now with the tabs than before.

Popping it open, then stopping the bounce forward with my elbow, the lid stays upright firmly with no issue.
