12" Cluster upgrade

Swapped the 8" to a 12" cluster in my single cab 2021, Today I noticed the speed numbers and rpm were smaller lol. Later on, it was normal again. Does anyone have any insight on this?

I kind of prefer the smaller numbers tbh.

Mine gets smaller when using nav, but not with cruise control, does yours operate differently than mine?

The off-road view/screen will also make the gauges smaller.

Ford plastic pieces were about 900, the cluster depends where you get it from. I bought 3 at the same time so I got a good deal on mine. You would probably be at about 2k total in to do it

Do you have a part number for the bezel? I’ve got the cluster and I’m trying to fine the correct bezel to match my interior. I’ve got a 22 XLT sport so the leather piece that goes to the steering wheel is black and the surround is kind of like a brushed metal dark grey ish. Anybody have any thoughts? And did you have to change the top part of the dash? I’ve gotten conflicting reports on that. It looks the same and another guy I talked to who did the swap said he did not change the top of the dash and it fit perfectly. ?

You have to change the top pieces 100%, if not you’ll have a 1” gap at the bottom. You can put the 12” cluster in but it won’t look right. These are the parts I used and matched perfectly

Do you have the part number for the actual screen? I all i seem to find are used ones that are scratched on ebay

im going to do this swap. how did you proceed with thin airbag? disconnect the battery or is something else needed?

Just disconnected the battery 30 mins before I started
