hello all. Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a 2021 lariat 3.5 being built in KC. Ford tracker says in production since 12/10. I’ve never gotten any emails from ford. My dealer isn’t really good at sending updates and I’m tired of bugging him. I’ve read from a few people on here that there’s a chip hold in KC but how do we know that our truck is part of it? Palsapp shows null/pending. Oh and the weird thing is my modules and activate in FordPass have all been up and going for a week now. Any input would be appreciated!!

Same situation with my truck. I called ford marketing and they gave me an update. I told them my dealer wasn’t responsive.

Dealer called late yesterday, truck had arrived and ready for pickup. Truck is amazing, although I did notice some other cutbacks besides the digital temp gauges, such as lack of lighting in the cup holders and tilting head rest on a 502A Lariat. ? My 2015 had them, but also wasn't built during equipment and chip shortages. Will be going over the truck today seeing what other surprises come up. I hope you all waiting on trucks get them soon, Happy Holidays!

If all goes according to plan I will find out next week. I hope to fly in Thursday late afternoon and then drive home Friday/Saturday.

Man that’s lame!! Do the cup holders have the circular light bars like maybe it could be activated later or is it just a plain cup holder now?

Plain cup holders. It’s not horrible, but definitely a downer. I didn’t know that they put a 110 outlet in the bed though, and it came with front sensors while my 21 order didn’t.

Probably because they do not have a light circle around them. Probably Lariat & above had this as a standard item.

According to his signature it is a Lariat, unless it refers to an older model.
I don't know if XLT has it or not, but it can be switched on/off, it's in the Ambient Lighting settings.

My XLT order isn't fancy enough for ambient lighting.
