09/19/22 Build Week -- Final Delivery

Mine just updated to Awaiting Shipment in the tracker this morning, so like we thought from me being able to do the activation in the app mine is built.

Edit: I hadn't checked my email before. This morning I got an email for it as well. It has an estimate of it getting to the dealership 10/18-10/24.

It is good to see a "nicely equipped" powerboost moving through.

Yep. If all goes well it should be here in a couple weeks. That would make it right at the six month mark. I’m just glad it’s built and I don’t have to worry about more options being deleted. Still not happy I lost the seats.

That is great news especially since you have had your build date pushed back many times. Thank you for the update. Were you tracking the number of modules your truck has? If you were, how many modules do you currently have?

Great thread here folks. Joining in on this since my 9/12 build drifted to 9/19 week. I’m at 1002 modules for a couple of weeks now.

Activate and truck picture shows in Ford Pass app.

Spoke with Ford chat yesterday and they said truck is built and ETA to dealer is 10-12 but tracker still shows “In Production”; so, not trusting that ETA right now.

Been tracking modules daily . They started at 997 and havent increased since.
I received 2 emails overnight from ford, vehicle built & vehicle shipped. Estimated delivery is 10/27-11/2.

I went from "In Production" late last night, to just under 1000 modules now populated, built as of 10/3, and currently "In Transit." I still have no tear tag, activation button, or e-mail from Ford, but I'm hoping the tracker isn't BS'ing me.

I know what you mean about the tracker...nothing makes sense. Mine shows "awaiting shipment".

I have modules, a tear tag, and an activation button. I got a "sorry but it's been delayed" email on 9/29 and a "built" email on 9/30.

I can see wifi, onboard scales, and smart hitch buttons in the Ford Pass app but none are operational. Ford marketing, chat, dealership have no answers. The delivery window is a moving target. I'd like to know if there is a hold of some sort on mine or if it's transportation issues. Not sure who to ask since the main POCs all say they don't know what the delay is.

Here are some observations I've made based on this thread so far. Please free free to let me know if you disagree or experienced something else. I would like to be wrong about a few of these things.

1. Five out of fourteen (counting Air2mag) trucks in this build week have reportedly been built and reportedly in the process of being delivered - Skiteton may be an exception.
2. The module list on the As Built site likely won't show all "modules" prior to getting the email message from Ford stating that your truck has been built.
3. Seeing a tear tag is a good sign, but doesn't mean the truck has been completely built.
4. Ford chat and the Tracker may not agree and both may be wrong.
5. Getting the Built and Shipped email from Ford is accurate.
6. Depending on how the truck is shipped, you may be able to track the progress with considerable detail or almost not at all.
7. Shipping to Granger is taking about 10 days plus or minus a few days.
8. The dealer may take up to 10 days to prep the truck.

Said to contact dealer to see if their contact at Ford could get an updated ETA since the original ETA in system was today but will get updated. From the trend I've noticed for a few months, most trucks "in production" longer than 1 week are on chip hold. Ford does not tell you it's on chip hold for around 2 weeks. Most trucks are on chip hold a minimum of 30 days, some much longer.

There is an older news article posted someplace on this site saying the Auto Workers Union was pissed off because a third party company (non-union) was installing parts and modules in trucks in Flat Rock across from the Mustang plant. I know for a fact, my truck was there waiting on modules. I know because whoever was in my truck accepted the FordPass activation while driving my truck. It sat in the lot for 30 days with various modules being installed. Once it was completed they did a master reset which kicked me out of Fordpass. My timeline is in my signature below.

I've been "in transit" for almost two weeks now but no convoy information still.

Is that normal? It said ETA to granger was 10/7-10/13. Seems kinda weird there's no convoy information at all.
