Starting to think it's going to be a while, maybe even into the MY23 before some of us awaiting shipping get our trucks. I say this because lots of the older trucks waiting for chips seem to be getting them in mass the past week. Which they should be getting priority shipping in the first place for how long Ford mistreated them. But Ford is also continuing the current line for shipping. We were one of the last major chip holds to happen recently. Caught right in the middle. The ordertracker keeps climbing in the similar vehicles count. Just my 3 cents, gotta increase it a cent for inflation.

Well shipping happened very quickly. I saw order track said delivered and called to confirm. I will hopefully be picking up in about a week since the dealership is a bit backed up with orders.

I think Fords approach is to take the path of least resistance. Trucks buried remain buried. It takes manpower to move trucks, so they won't reorganize the lots to get those January trucks out.
My 3/31 blend finally came off chip hold on 6/15, now awaiting shipment. Its probably already buried behind other trucks that came of hold this week and will likely get shipped ahead of mine.

Wanted to reach out and apologize for the extended wait of your F-150. In many cases, the system may show “released” but a vehicle still may be waiting on microchips. This appears to be the case with your vehicle.



I have confirmed in our system that your vehicle is awaiting a chip to be installed but it is at the top of the priority list. As soon as this gets completed, the plant team will make sure this is prioritized for shipment.



I wish I had a better ETA for your but wanted you to know that we are treating each order with the highest priority to get them sent to you ASAP. I can imagine how frustrating this process is waiting for your new truck as we continue to be impacted by supply chain hiccups still stemming from COVID. Not an excuse because that is Ford’s problem and not yours!

My problem is that the tracker shows built, Ford customer service and my dealership both say the truck is built and waiting to be shipped, yet he claims it is on chip hold. I don't know who to believe or that it really even matters at this point.

I'm able to get there but you can also log in and see more. Some email accounts work with making an account while other don't. Tried Gmail, yahoo, and my work email and all get denied. @JohnMcClane used his old college email and it worked from my memory.

The account has to be linked to your dealership, I could only help if your truck was going to the same dealer as mine.
