Is anyone still on a chip hold or plant hold with an Oct ETA? Looks like everyone has moved up to actually getting it by or near July 4th. Which is great to see.

My dealer has confirmed that I’m NOT on chip hold, also according to his latest VVR my ETA is end of this month, but chat/phone say as late as August. Ford makes absolutely no sense.

I'm not on hold but my ETA was June 9th to the dealer. Never happened and last I talked to Ford there was no update just "Awaiting Shipment".

Mine seems to have shipped with a pretty fast ETA for arrival. I want to believe it but I am hesitant to.

Aggravating that some get built then shipped next day while others get built and wait for weeks to ship. I understand trucks are traveling all over North America but when you watch later builds ship immediately in the same direction your truck that has been awaiting shipping it's complete bullshit. Chip and plant holds trucks that are built get put to the end of the line behind trucks not even in production yet.

Yep, and I understand there are those waiting since as far back as January for a shipment on a finished truck. After some searching yesterday, I see Ford cannot recognize the revenue until their products ship (they lump vehicles, parts, and accessories into the same revenue category), so I really do not understand why they are letting vehicles sit that have customers waiting to buy them.

Short of some logistical reason, I cannot fathom why they are letting completed vehicles just sit around. Has anyone else received a response from Ford other than 2 of the original 3 emails? They never responded to me, so I sent a follow up this morning. I am going to email them every 2 days or so until I get a response. If they don't respond to the next one, I will figure out the email address of Andrew's boss and copy them too; I am just enough of a PITA to not go away by ignoring me.

I am happy for your, but I used your screenshot as a response to to Nick, showing him how a vehicle built a full month after mine is already on its way. Again, happy for you, just makes no sense how this happens. My ETA is as late as August!! And I am confirmed NOT chip/part hold,

Could be a tactical accounting move. Spread generated revenue across or into a different quarter. Normalize reporting trends. Keep the books healthy.

Yeah, but why let the ones just coming off the line go when others have been waiting months. All they are doing is pissing people off.
