This is what I’ve had since January.

Wow, that is ridiculous! On the forums that I've been following I've read about an inordinate number of vehicles being damaged during transport so they are undeliverable. I hope yours isn't one of those type of occurrences. Probably doesn't matter, though, because in the amount of time you've been waiting, you could have ordered and had another one built.

Like Stans2000 said, contact your dealer and tell him you want to see the vehicle visibility report on your truck.

I have. The VVR shows nothing meaningful. Miscellaneous transit / convoy delay.

I got another email from Ford this morning. The palsapp tracking is way over my head so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that it really shipped.

Well, today is the 30th, no truck at the dealer. They checked the VVR and advised of an ETA of 29 March-04 April. The dealer also said there was no rail car number assigned yet. This may be a stupid question so forgive me, because I know nothing: The window sticker shows CONVOY and the dealer is looking for a rail car number. Is it usually a combination of transportation methods?

Probably most times. My window sticker had Convoy, but it came from Detroit on Norfolk Southern to Petersburg, VA.

At no point has PalsApp or UnitedRoad displayed any details other than vin not found. Is it normal for it not to show up on these sites? Or does that mean it still hasn't been picked up at the train station to be transported to the dealer?

When does it typically show up on Pals or UnitedRoad?

So, after keeping track of over 50 Trucks including Build weeks 1/10, 1/17, 1/24 and the weeks afterwards it is obvious that Ford Built, Shipped, and Delivered the Trucks (XL, XLT, Lariat, Platinum, & Tremor) with Build weeks in February and will install the Chips for January Build Weeks when they have time.

Unfortunately that seems to be the case. I just read the Build Week 3/07 thread and one of them had his truck delivered yesterday or even the day before.

Even myself with two identical orders - one I'm keeping and one I cancelled, but the dealer will sell. One was completed after chip hold and is currently on a railcar in a NS classification yard near Harrisburg PA and the other is still in production with some undefined hold. Seems to be no rhyme or reason except the completed one's VIN has a lower sequential number (last 6 digits).

My buddy had a 701A built in late March and the tracker is now showing that it's shipped. One more data point for you.

I created my account with United Road as an affiliate of my dealer on Jan 28 three days after my Blend Date. My VIN showed right away as valid but Inactive with the final rail debarkation point as the Ford Wilmington Ramp in DE from where United Road would then truck it to Chapman Ford in Horsham PA.

Could it be that neither JCT nor United Road are transporting your truck from the railyard to your dealer since your VIN shows as invalid?

...or, it could be that once Ford prints the window sticker and places it in the vehicle in preparation for shipping, they remove it from the tracker application because they no longer have to maintain it...just keeping it positive for you and hoping you get it sooner rather than later...

Thanks for the response. I hope you're right. I'm tired of commuting in a rental....
