Has anyone else noticed the Window Sticker dates are now updating to current day? It started for me on the 22nd, but every other time or so. The date was alternating between 3/18 and 3/22. As of 3/22 it switched to reflect to current day. I’m wondering if this is connected in any way to Ford chat saying my order was supposed to be completed 3/22? Tracker still shows In Production.

How long does the dealer take to have the truck ready after its been delivered?

Spoke with Ford today and they stated It has arrived at the Richmond,Ca Rail Station which is about an hour from my location. Should be any day now!

Also, based on prior deliveries, do the trucks wait at the rail stop for a few days before it gets taken to the dealership via truck?

Talking to my sales manager here in the Houston area he said the wait is 3-5 days depending if they can find a carrier with drivers. The distance from the rail yard to my dealer is about 50 miles.

my truck came in at 9 am and I picked it up at 2 pm. It was a fast prep.

Added my dates, Canadian build so I havent been able to use the normal tracker and also wont receive the email updates. So far no luck tracking it in transit. The freight ID works on Palsapp but shows pending.

Wow, it's been quite a while since I last updated the spreadsheet - more than a week ago. So, hope I've captured everything since then. Ashlie at Chapman Ford Sent me a VVR Current Status screenshot within a couple minutes of asking them for an update. Great ordering team there for which I'm very appreciative.

I now have my railcar assignment. Appears it was loaded the next day after arriving at Ramp 58 in Melvindale MI. Now the fun of tracking the railcar.

Chapman has auto-posted my truck on their website with photos at the train depot before loading (22 photos in total both inside and out). I can see it left the factory unblemished - hope it stays that way! BTW - it's listed at $6,250 above sticker MSRP. I should be getting it about $17K below that with various discounts and price protection.

FYI - Here is the information for tracking a Norfolk Southern train if your truck is being transported by them. @stans2000 provided the information for tracking CSX trains in Post #818 above.

Here is Norfolk Southern tracking info, for those who may have NS railcar number

Option 2 for intermodal, then option 2 for tracing.

You will need railcar number from your dealer. Use keypad to enter alpha characters and use # for quick entering. Use keypad to then enter numeric characters separately followed by # when prompted.

Anyone know what ramp 59 means? Got the VVR it was on ramp 51 for awhile.

I have the same question. My truck was "built" on March 18, and has been there since - allegedly "awaiting shipment".

I tried to research it but couldn't come up with anything concrete. It's not listed in the Norfolk Southern list of locations. Their only staging area appears to be Ramp 58 in Melvindale MI - not far from DTP.

Perhaps it's the Ramp servicing Union Pacific, Canadian Railways, and/or CSX?

I tried loading my window sticker for the last two days and got nothing. Both the tracker and the chat feature said the truck is "built" and awaiting shipment. Supposedly it's at Ramp 51 in Flat Rock, MI. I'm starting to think it's another production delay that Ford wants to hide.

...or, it could be that once Ford prints the window sticker and places it in the vehicle in preparation for shipping, they remove it from the tracker application because they no longer have to maintain it...just keeping it positive for you and hoping you get it sooner rather than later...

Thanks, Ralph. It could be CSX, which is the rail that I think would ultimately deliver my truck to New Orleans. That said, the window sticker says convoy, not rail (whatever that means)

I asked my dealer for the VVR so I, too, could maybe track the rail car on which my truck is theoretically placed. This is what I got, which is quite different than what others have posted. Is anyone able to make heads or tails out of this?
