I haven't actually used it yet. Might this weekend, so I can't say whether the setting sticks. (Although arguably if you save to a driver profile? Dunno, just spitballin' at the moment.) I'll definitely update when I get around to giving it a shot.
I just got my 1.4 update to install yesterday, and while poking around in the vehicle settings, there's an option (as I recall, I'm not in front of it) to disable the automatic lane keeping function. I wouldn't swear to that, but I'm pretty sure I saw that option.
Not a bad idea. It happens when there are no signs around, so I know it's not actually reading a speed change. Curious if there's some database issue (although that it doesn't happen in the same places every time probably suggests that's not it, either). Still, it's worth a shot!
Greetings!
My cruise control has started to randomly change speeds (downward) while on the highway. This is a new problem (2021 F150) that started this summer during our road trip down to CA. We're moving along at 75 or 80 or whatever it was, and suddenly it just drops to 65 or 55, and it uses...
I dunno. It was mostly worthless IMO. I never got any alerts, so what's the point? Most I ever got was, IF I logged into the app, then I'd see notifications ... from yesterday, or last week. Super helpful. ?
App needs real-time notifications and, ideally, smartwatch connectivity.
Congrats, but sucks about the price issue. My dealer reduced the price by the 2021-22 increase (about $880?).
I got a $1,500 rebate instead of $1,000, but they couldn't honor the financing available when I ordered. I still got the payment I wanted, and 2.74% for a car isn't tragic, but still...
None of the snow stuck to the ground, but it was very wet on the drive home. Handled like the dream you'd expect it to be (remained in 2H the whole time, will probably consider 4A next time out in the rain to see if I notice any difference). Activating the automatic wipers was hard to figure...
It actually happened!
Quick impressions:
Felt the transmission was not super smooth, but haven't spent enough time to figure out if it's me or the truck.
Mileage was crap. Drove 60 miles home, mostly a straight shot down I-5, and got between 12-13 MPG (per the truck computer). I'm hoping...
Lettering looks good. I ordered the same. I'm just not a huge fan of the "invisible" lettering, so I'm happy to see how good this looks. Picking mine up tomorrow!
Same. I was told that I'd either get the deal in place when I ordered (November) or the current offer, whichever is better. So, I'm expecting 0% for 60-months (which I also confirmed a few times in the past 4-5 months).
I asked my dealer for the VVR so I, too, could maybe track the rail car on which my truck is theoretically placed. This is what I got, which is quite different than what others have posted. Is anyone able to make heads or tails out of this?
(Apologies for the faded appearance. This is what I...
When I ordered mine back in November, that was the FMC deal - $1k cash and 0% for 60 months. My dealer swears that when the truck arrives, I'm guaranteed either that deal or whatever the current offer is, whichever is better.
UPDATE: Got the shipping email this morning. Says it should arrive between June 3-9 (while "built" notification said April 7-13.) So, either the train it's on is taking a grand tour of the United States, or they've hitched it to a team of horses and it's following in the steps of Lewis & Clark...
My window sticker updated every Monday for at least a month. Only thing that changed was the date..
But then, after the regular weekly non-update update, which was on 3/8, there was an update on 3/11. I thought that was weird. And again, nothing changed. Until I got the build notification on...
Good to know, thanks!
I didn't get a shipping notification email, but today the tracker showed "Shipped."
My brother's 2021 took about a month as well, so sounds like that's just we get on the west coast.
