0% apr financing for 72 months offer

Does anyone know how this offer works with retail orders? Does it get locked in with the order day and will it be available 3-4 months from now when i pick up the truck? Or will the financing offer available at the time of delivery and purchase day apply?

I've read on this forum that you can "lock in" rates, offers, etc but my personal experience with local dealers (2 different ones) in NC and the dealer I ordered with out of state is that you can only take advantage of offers that apply at the time of delivery/purchase and can NOT lock in rates/offers. If there is a specific offer that applies to a time frame of when you placed an order, that's different such as Ford offering cash back if you placed an order within a certain window.

Thanks. I had the same thought about financing offers only applying at the time of purchase, but was not sure. Seems like it’s a good deal for those currently receiving their trucks!

I was able to choose either the incentives that were available when I ordered (April) or when I took delivery (July), whichever were better. They dealer was able to look them up in their system. In addition, I was able to add the $1000 custom order incentive to whichever ones I selected.

I understand about the incentives. My question is specific to financing. Were you able to choose april or july option on the financing rate?

I would also think it would be at time of purchase, since it does say you have to take delivery by 9/7/21. Let's hope this get extended! I'm sure a dealer could weasel there way out since it says dealer's stock, I'm not sure an order counts as that. Maybe @Granger Ford or @GrangerChip could chime in.

Yes, I had the option of all the available offers including the promotional finance options via Ford Credit. The financing option in April wasn't great, so I went with the other available options from April since they were all better than the choices I had in July.

The dealer can click the protected date in smartvincent and you will receive all eligible offers from when you ordered.

My dealer confirmed that I cannot use this as I will not take delivery of my truck by 9-7-21. Had Ford built it on the first date they gave me, I would have gotten it next week and qualified.
