    Don’t believe everything AI tells you as right… The skid plate is clearly stamped stating it should NOT be removed for an oil change. Climb under your truck and verify.

    The front skid plate was stamped with a message saying do not remove for oil change on my 2018 truck. I need to look and see if it is also stamped on the 2021 skid plate. I do not remove mine for an oil change and there is some residual oil that drips onto it.

    My truck never gets OTA updates either anymore. I know there are some pending ones that should show up eventually. I had that HVAC code also and the dealer replaced the blend door motor.

    I just always leave the door open and everything works fine. Some updates have a time that they want you to wait for the modules to sleep before continuing by leaving the door open if I remember right.

    Is it worth the trouble to PMI it again? Have other modules been updated during this session that may change the outcome of a PMI? I saw some posts when I searched that DTC that said a PMI fixed the problem.

    If I had Ford change my engine oil, filter, both fuel filters and top off the DEF, it would easily be a $600+ visit instead of $275 doing it myself.

    @SilverPigeon how do I find the values for the led running lights percentage at night? I used the known 25% values and the 50% posted previously but found one was still a little too dim and the other was too bright. I would like to know how to find the various values for 30% and 40% but not sure...
