Nice, making payments on a truck you don't have. Same here, though for different reasons. Mine's a lemon, waiting on ram to agree to buy it back or tell us to screw off.
My advice to anyone experiencing such high trans fluid temps is to have the fluid changed asap. Temps that high are supposedly very hard on the fluid, causing fast degradation. I'd want that out of my transmission in a hurry.
Another perspective-using an led light source with a poor CRI (color rendering index) can make it hard or impossible to accurately judge the color of anything it illuminates. Try for natural sunlight-if it still looks blue, you can be pretty sure it's blue.
Hi all,
Title is self explanatory, if I buy a 2024 xl can I have ford branded remote start added to it? I'd like to have that feature, but I don't want any aftermarket modifications to the wiring if I can avoid it. In fact, I'd probably just not get it (the remote start setup, not the...
You're wrong on one count-assault rifle has a technical definition. Among other things I can't remember at the moment, it must fire a medium power rifle cartridge and be capable of fully automatic fire. As you doubtless know, the last part disqualifies the screaming majority of medium power...
Cameron is actually their performance guy if I remember correctly. I had actually put a deposit down on a blue '24 xl rcsb 4x4 301 truck (like you, I didn't want aluminum wheels or chrome bumpers). One thing I didn't too much like is that Lebanon won't come down a penny off sticker on the...
Great looking truck! I'd like to get one that color too. Was your salesman at Lebanon by any chance Logan? Great guy, I almost bought a truck from them through him, ended up getting the ram I'm now lemon lawing instead.
On all my older transmissions, the standard procedure has been to check it while running after having slowly run it through all gear selections. All but mopars got checked idling in park, mopars got checked idling in neutral because the old torqueflite architecture transmissions don't pump...
This has devolved much further than I thought it would, considering what the actual thread is about. I'll take it one step further. (Once I get it running) None of you guys will catch my datsun in a straight line acceleration contest, unless you run 7's or quicker. So there!
I've wondered that myself. I drive in snow a fair amount in winter, and I guess it would engage the front axle upon the beginning of traction loss before I do, I dunno. I've never really seen an overriding need for it myself.
Weird thought, could you set it up with a plug for 230 and a plug for 110, and just tape up the unused plug? That may not be possible, I'd have to see the wiring diagram for the motor. Would neatly solve the problems though!
