Well I think we all were. I did my updates a few months before that SSA came out. Then you checked my son's right after and he was showing the updates. he lives 3 hours away. He didnt visit for like 2 mths and then that SSM came out and he was on hold whne I finally bought the FDRS lic. well he is just waiting...... Hopefully more of the 2021's get the update for you all soon!!Awesome. My 2021 is stil on 24127 with nothing else showing. In the case of the other truck, it may be a while. 22293 is followed by 23159, 23291, 24127 and the 25094 which is the latest. His truck may be affected by the attached SSM.
https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...on-auto-updates-this-thread-is-for-you.30652/Hi All, I have a 2021 PB that I'm trying to update from the factory original SYNC (4.0.20262) using FDRS. About 15 modules have a software update showing, but I am starting with the USB AIPM update. After formatting the USB, I followed FDRS'S instructions to leave the USB installed in the idling truck for 3hrs now (also with 20A battery charger engaged). I cannot get the 'leave USB plugged in' message to show up. The USB does seem to be read in immediately when plugging it in with a message being read in at the top left of the screen. Am I missing something obvious here? Thanks!
Step one will require leaving the USB in there for weeks until the apim update decides to take off. This is only the case with the old broken Sync versions like the one you're on. Ok to tell fdrs yes that the update went through and knock out the other module updates. Eventually, when the apim update kicks off, you'll need to get another fdrs license to rest of the APIM, GWM, TCU and IPC updates that will pop up once you get the APIM out of the version it's on now.Hi All, I have a 2021 PB that I'm trying to update from the factory original SYNC (4.0.20262) using FDRS. When you say this: " Ok to tell fdrs yes that the update went through and knock out the other module updates. No, not those. Update all the other ones that don't require the usb. IPMA and PSCM are tied to one another and will take 3 hours to do.When you say this: " Ok to tell fdrs yes that the update went through and knock out the other module updates. "
Do you mean that I should tell FDRS that the APIM went through so I can update the TCU and GWM? Will FDRS let me do that?
Anything worthwhile?updated sync to 25211 last night... 5g update took all most 2 hours.. what a pain..
i only notice some of the Sirius xm art work has been updated... this update was different.. i had to install the usb then it loaded like 3 files for removal... had to delete off usb .. then load all new files... the instruction screen also changed to a different design.. also after this update.. you pulled the usb out then let the truck sit 10 minutes.. then turn ignition on to completed the update.Anything worthwhile?
