I'm looking at getting a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G3s, specifically in the 275/65/20 size. The initial reviews all seem pretty positive, but they're mostly new tire reviews. I know the tire hasn’t been out too long so I get it.

For those of you who have been running them for a while (15k, 20k, 30k+ miles), how are they holding up? Also any pictures of the tires on trucks would be great, especially in the less aggressive sidewall option since I think I like that one more.

I'm especially curious about:

• How road noise has changed over time

• Wet and/or snow traction after they've worn down a bit

Would you buy them again?

Thanks for any info!

I just had a set installed last week, same size. I wouldn’t think 20 miles would count as a long term test, however for those miles, they rode and handled very well.

What size did you end up with?

7k on mine so far with 1 rotation. I know that’s not long at all, but where I’m at. No change in road noise. Still love them. Wet and dry traction are both just fine. Haven’t seen snow yet and hope to not for another month at least, so can’t comment there.

Just passed about 14K miles on mine. I rotate every 5-6K. Barely worn. Can’t report in on snow traction but great in the rain and noise is minimal.

I have had them since early spring and they have been great. Haven’t had snow yet so can’t compare with others but on the highway, and in rain and some off road they have performed well. Super quiet too.
I will be putting a set on my 4Runner next year to replace the loud Falken Wildpeaks.

2018 F150 Platinum - RWD, 3.5 Ecoboost, 2026 Platinum 4X4 PB on order
I have a 2018 RWD Platinum Ecoboost that I'm on the second set of G2s. I got almost 75k miles on my first set and 25k on the second, very little wear. I love them. Fairly quiet, good traction even in wet conditions.

I'm sure the G3s would be just as good if not better.

I just ordered a new set of G3's in 275/65r20 in SL . I would love to have gotten 35" s but that's a lot more weight. Hope I don't regret it , don't think I will but...
The 275/65 should be 34.1" tall which I think not enough a difference between a 35" to make a difference, at least with the weight hit . 47lbs vs 55 , but if I was going E rated I would have gotten Ridge Grappler E @ 58lbs. too much IMO
So I get new shoes tomorrow , fingers crossed
If anyone is interested in changing my mind , you got 24 hrs lol

I think you made the right choice in sizing. I’d love to see some pictures once you get them mounted!

I have 17k miles on my first set of G3's. Doing 5k rotations and they are wearing evenly after lots of road trip miles that included a trip to Colorado. The manager at my local Discount Tire is always impressed as he runs his little test on them when I show up for rotation.

I have been impressed with them, no issues in snow (very little in the Ozarks) and wet traction is probably the best I've seen in a tire that wasn't made by Continental or Michelin.

They are good tires, but after seeing the testing from Tire Rack, I will either go with the Michelin Defender or Bridgestone Dueler Ascent for my next set.

Ok, all I can say is Holy Hell what a difference. Just got them on , but even just seeing the old hankook junk off on the ground next to these was unbelievable difference.
So definitely feel ride height adjustment (33 vs 34.1) sitting in truck. Feel like a real man now lol
I will get many more pics this evening but in person these are most definitely worth the $$. Driving home you could tell too. Only 10 miles so far but they balanced out perfectly, no to little weights added.
Again, I’ll have better pics tonight
FYI - Running 40 psi
