I had Ford mobile service take care of my loss of brake boost recall today when this new one pops up. At least they have all been software based fixes so far.

Same just got it, got the brake recall performed just a few days ago. This could’ve been a simple OTA update rather than a dealer upgrade

Add it to the list!! My 3rd recall in a month on 25 Platinum. Remind me again how the slogan goes? "Quality is Job 1".... More like 1 recall after another. How deep does this rabbit hole go? At least their pricing is fair, and they don't remove features and options, then charge you more. Oh, wait.... That's Job 1 . This is beyond Ridiculous.

I just got the recall notice for the brake booster. How long did it take? Will they be able to do it while I wait?

I had the mobile service come to my house to take care of it. For me, it took about 45 minutes. Tech said it was quite a large software update.

Apparently the dealership where I bought the truck does not have a mobile service. I called about the TWO recalls and they said I would have to leave my truck there FOR THE DAY.
This is bullshit. What if I just do nothing?

UPDATE: They won't come and pick it up either.

I was just in today and I was there for about 2.5 hours to do both. They would have picked up and dropped off, but I prefer to just take it in and wait. They will pick up just for oil changes too. Sounds like you might want to look for a new dealer if you have options.

So far I've seen posts from Iowa, Michigan and Texas F-150 owners that all say the dealership made the software fixes with a mobile tech who came to the house. Apparently this is not the case in New Jersey. I have contacted 2 different dealerships including the one I bought the truck from 3 months ago and they don't offer mobile service OR pick-up and drop-off service for these factory recalls.
Anybody from Jersey getting this done without leaving it at the dealership or is it just me?

That’s a real bummer that you can’t get mobile service in your area. It’s so convenient. I’m really happy that Ford is offering this. Hopefully you’ll get it too at some poin.

The local Ford dealers in my area do offer mobile service but only for a selected list of things. And, for some odd reason, factory recalls are not a priority. They insist on bringing the truck in and leaving it there.
Since my truck is not acting up, maybe I'll just ignore the recalls?

I had a wiper motor recall on my former ‘22 and I never had it fixed. I drove it for 3 years without issue. I took my chances.

On my 2025 I took care of the brake boost one as soon as possible, well, because it involves the brakes. The IPC recall seems a bit less detrimental, so letting that one slide seems less of a risk, although I have the mobile service coming out tomorrow to fix that one. I’m just trying to keep my slate clean of recalls this time around.
