I have a '25 F-150 Platinum (with the weird tailgate) on the way with the spray-in liner, but I always like to have a bedmat as well. Is the OEM Ford version the best option for a perfect fit. I was looking at some others, but there's always complaints or un-perfect-fit, oil on rubber, won't lay flat, etc, etc. So...is the OEM the best option? AND...I don't like the ones that have big logos of other brands...hate that.

I also see alot of the TPE liners (mostly on Amazon). These ones have a lip that goes around the perimeter pretty nice...but I never see anyone talking about them (good or bad). So, are they good, or bad? Here's an example:

Any thoughts would be apprecited.

I've only had experience with two bed mats in the last 26 years. When I bought my '99 XLT new, I put a JC Whitney bed mat into it and the mat was still pliable and functioning when I sold that truck two years ago. I now have a '23 KRPB that I ordered with the Ford OEM bed mat. I have no complaints so far. The mat does not rest completely flat, however. At the very rear edge of the mat (on one side) it insists on staying raised up about .25 inches for a length of about 6 inches. If you're OCD about this kind of behavior, then be aware. Otherwise, I like the mat's ability to be removed fairly easily for sweeping/cleaning under it. Of course it does the job of preventing objects from sliding around and protects the bed finish.

Last night my $99 Rough Country mat arrived. It came rolled up wrapped in plastic and is curled a bit in the bed due to that. I'll open my tonneau and pull the truck out of the carport this weekend to let it get some sun. It's not an "issue" just needs some sun to flatten as has been documented.

Fits great and worth the price imo. The others felt too expensive for a simple bed mat when many of us already have spray liners. I know you mean on the logos - I am not letting it bother me since it's under the cover.

I prefer and needed the rubber to prevent stuff from sliding around. I have a F-150 OEM liner on my 2004 and for the nearly 2 decades I've had the ole girl, nothing slides in the bed.

I have the Ford mat. I like it. It sits on top of my bedliner and I can throw things in all day without issue.

I purchased the Ford OEM mat for mine. Lays flat and fit perfectly. I found mine on eBay through Ford Motor Company way cheaper than the dealership could offer.

Funny...I was literally just looking at those. The TPE liners look very interesting. I've never had one like that, but they look pretty nice (with the surrounding lip). I may have to give one a try, just out of curiousity.

Personally I like the drop in plastic liners because of their ease of cleaning. Having said that, my 13 I just sold had Ford spray in and Ford rubber mat. I just got a used 21 that had the Ford spray in, so I kept the rubber mat from my 13 and threw it in my 21. There are small areas around the wheel wells that need to be trimmed, but otherwise fits well.

I bought the Husky for my supercab 6 foot bed. Fit is good. Looks nice. It's been in a year now. No complaints.

As others have said… I bought a Dee Zee brand bed mat for my 2018, moved it to my 2020, and moved it again to my 2022. Holds up in the Texas sun and various cargo types, still looks new, no issue whatsoever. +1 on a bed mat over a spray in liner…

I bought the TripleAligners Mat https://a.co/d/6GPdtsP for my F150, fit perfectly and they seem very similar in construction and quality to the TuxMats I’m using inside the cab. Its not a thin/plasticy mat and has that padded feeling. When I put skis in the back they dont slide around and wiping up moisture is easy with a rag. I need to find endgate protection now.

I had the same question when I bought my '24 last May. Wanted the spray-in and also a high quality bed mat. Weathertech was a big disappointment and all the others I looked at were the same - very thin. I used my Ford points to buy the actual Ford part and it is far superior to any of the others. You can tell by the weight.
