I’m just curious—my truck has 60k miles, but Comma says miles driven is 64k. Where did the extra 4k come from? Is the number Comma gives the total miles driven while Comma AI was activated?
I drive a lot and 95% of the time while it's activated.

My miles in comma are accumulating 178% faster than my odometer. I conversion to kilometers would be 160% faster, so I'm not sure what is going on. I've asked around and wil let you guys know what I find.

Thank you all for your effort on this project. Pretty great experience overall on my 21 PB. Mostly plug and play. Didn’t update any modules and the experience has still been excellent. Hope one day longitudinal control is a reliable option for traffic lights but otherwise can’t really complain. Much better than blue cruise 1.0 for sure. Look forward to future updates.

Now that I’ve been using Bluepilot for a couple weeks and have worked through the initial learning curve and in some cases, my own stupidity, I am blown away by how well it works and in most cases how far superior it is to Blue Cruise. With that said I do have a couple questions/observations.

lane changing- The BC 1.4 lane changing would be the only area I would give BC the edge. Is there any roadmap for any improvements to lane changing to make it more similar to BC? Would it even be possible to have Bluepilot decide when to change lanes and/or turn off the blinker after changing?

Lane Keeping System Off message- whenever I hit the cruise control button to engage self driving I get this message.

Other than those two things I really have nothing else to say but wow!

The comma model calls for a much more aggressive lane change than the ford model, there is only so much we can do to make it less abrupt. That said we have been testing a completley reworked lane change logic and feedback is that it is a big improvement over what is out there now. That should be in our next update, which is imminent (we are working out bugs in the UI menu system).

This is because we are taking control away from Ford, so it thinks the system is off. The dash icons still show the ADAS engaged so you know what is really going on.

Thanks for the quick response. Pretty amazing that these are the only two items I could come up with to even mention. Looking forward to trying the next update.

My s/w rev was stuck on a July release forever, & finally realized it was because I was on experimental branch. Just switched to staging so now caught up to 2024.12.09 on my 2021 Powerboost. Question - are most of you finding best success w/ Notre Dame driving model?

If anyone tried to update overnight or early this morning, there was a bug in the OS update that has been fixed.

Ha I tried this morning and had to leave when it was still going. I didn’t time but at least a half hour passes between when it started and when I left I just sent my wife to check it about 5 min before seeing this

Still having some issues with this. When I click install I get the screens showing that it is installing and then when I come back it asks me to install again. I’ve tried 4-5 times and it’s on an endless loop. Any suggestions?

For anyone else…. If you get in the loop you can tap the screen during the reboot and it will prompt you to factory reset. You can them start over clean.

Just curious about a couple things. I have not been able to find any information about the cruise control features:

1. Can the cruise control be adjusted such that the lowest cruise speed is overridden to lower speeds, such as 10 and 15 mph?

2. Will the +/- short press override to +/- 5mph long press ever work?

I have a Maverick Lariat 2024 and have had my Comma 3X in a Honda 2021 Insight. The comma works much better in the Ford than the Honda, but I do miss these features as my drive on Military bases can go from 10 or 15 MPH to 40 in 5 or 10 MPH increments. Being able to use the ACC at lower speeds and then quick press up (or down) 5 MPH without having to look at the dash to verify each time was rather helpful. I kind of got spoiled being able to do this in my Honda.

Thanks

p.s. kudos for adding a lane centering adjustment, I hated how close to some bridge railings it was driving.
Are you using OP Long or Ford ACC?
