Not sure about that, but I do know the Chevy system supports towing. Would be nice if Ford added that.
I don't believe this OTA update is available or being pushed for 2021 trucks.
It better be. I just paid a bundle of money to extend BC after they threatened to cancel mine.
Can't find anywhere that says which trucks can/will get it. I have a 2021 and was wondering. Don't know why not unless they think it's a big enough reason to make people buy a newer truck. Not.
I installed a major IPMA update for my 2021 a couple weeks ago using FDRS. I'm fairly confident this was related.

No way to force an update unless you’ve got FDRS. As long as you’re getting over the air updates, just be patient. You’ve got 1.0 until they push the 1.4 update.
I already had it working on my 21 for a long period of time. A newer update broke it some how. I am confident it will be resolved as I had the best of the best assisting me
Mine is working great, I think 1.4 but not sure.
I’d say leave OTA on.
FDRS will allow you to update the modules. You can use FORScan to check the calibrations loaded and tell which version. But if you haven't done updates, you are still on 1.1 version that shipped with the truck.
I have OTA's turned on. I still get OTA updates even after updating everything via FDRS. I would leave OTA turned on. For now it's the only way for the BCM to get updated, unless you take the truck to a dealer.
