I had dents removed that size and I bet money you can’t find them
Was it from hail damage? Were there a lot of dents? From the pictures they look really small and the cars black so my thought was in line with what you're saying. But another poster just said I'll see them forever... lol.

The fact that they met your price THEN disclosed the hail damage says a lot. Don't forget, a car dealers job is to make half the people buying cars feel good about a terrible deal.

Myself? It's a truck, not a lambo garage queen.

If the truck is exactly what you want, and you got a good deal on it, then enjoy the ride. Too many people looking for the absolute perfect specimen, and the first time you get a rock chip in the hood you'll be inconsolable.

My truck got hit by a falling branch after a couple of years. PDR people won't touch a dent in the door because it's at a crease and would require disassembling the entire door to push out the dent. Regular body shop would only bondo and repaint. Screw it, I'll live with the small dent.

It's a truck. Drive on and be happy.

I have never had a car with paintless dent repair. You believe I'll still see all of the spots after repair? The sales person said their entire lot was affected by the storm and the repairs are done flawless.
My suggestion is to see the repair after it's done and then make a decision.

$10K off with 1.9% financing and including bedliner feels like a great deal. To be fair, we negotiated at first over text. The first time we spoke on the phone was for him to say the owner wants to accept my offer, disclose the hail damage and include the bedliner. I don't believe he was trying to hide it in any way. I think they want to get trucks off their lot.

500 miles as a service truck and 40+ hail dents with only $10k off MSRP seems rough. With that many pulls they'll likely need to paint correct so you'd lose some of your clear during correction. Not a big deal but that's one round of correction/clear-coat depth you'll lose on two of the highest damage-prone areas. It just seems fraught for that kind of money. Break-in isn't much of a thing anymore but surely no service tech/demo-driver let it warm up a moment before tearing off. It has probably been sitting outside and washed with a broom. I bet in person it looks pretty beat actually.

It was the truck you wanted, now its a demo truck that was hit by a hail storm whose dealer knocked off what many dealers would on a pristine unit.

I'd buy it but only pending my in person inspection. If it fails I'll gladly walk and pay round trip air fare but surely don't want to be losing a sizable deposit.

I gave a small deposit on a credit card and got in writing it's full refundable if I'm not satisfied with the condition of the truck.

My 2023 was an FCTP unit as well with 1800 miles on it and a hole in a fender well in the bed where someone forced something through it.

I got 11.5K off sticker plus a $4K PCO that I had plus 1.9/72 mo. They fixed the bed and you can’t tell it ever happened and it’s not on the CARFAX. I lost 5 months of warranty time but the 36K warranty gets extended to 41K miles and I’ll hit that before the time anyway.

Other than needing a battery, it’s been a great truck. If the hail damage is fixed and it’s what you want, go for it.

I ordered a truck and gave up waiting after a year and took the one on the lot as I needed a truck. It doesn’t have the options I want and after 2 years it’s covered in paint chips on the bumper, has 3 door dings, and a window was smashed out by a crack head. Point is, you’ll end up with wear and tear, but if it has what you want that will never change.

Ive seen dealers throwing in esp to move trucks on the lot. Maybe express your concern about the use in the first 500 miles to get an extended warranty.

For what it's worth, maybe someone on the board is in the city where the truck is and would be willing to go look at it in person.
You forget the lurkers on here that will buy shit out from under you without blinking.
