Damn, you went all out with the valve stem extension. I have the factory spare so I just flipped it so I can easily adjust pressure in the spring and fall.
Yes Sir. That’s what I did with the standard black steel spare wheel. But I wanted to try to keep this one nice and purdy.

What DO you do with the space under your Retrax canister? ?……………………… Put in a 60L drinking water tank ?

Pump Power routed behind canister, cable-tied to the inside of the push pins holding on the bed top trim down to the (my) passenger side electrics at the rear. Plumbing routed down the (my) driver's side in the same fashion; 5mm breather/fill line and 10mm output line both at the tailgate for easy access.

You planning on a cross country trip through desert?

I got a picture of it at the dealership. It shouldn’t be long now. I bought it sight unseen and was told it had Black bumpers and steel wheels. I’m sure it was an honest mistake. I guess I got an $1100 better deal though. I wanted a work truck and got a grandpa truck ? I’m in my forties so I guess I’m ahead of the curve.
I really didn’t want the chrome bumpers and aluminum wheels. The whole idea for me was to have a base model truck as that’s all I’ve ever bought. Then I saw another members truck with the Atlas Blue and Bronze Expedition Ford Performance wheels and fell in love with the look. They won’t look right with chrome bumpers though and I don’t really like color matched bumpers (I’m weird).

Regardless I’m super stoked and should have it in a few days. I went with the Ford Performance lowering kit 1.3”/2.5”. I’m curious to see what it looks like as I haven’t seen a RCSB with this kit. I don’t want to go too low as I have two other vehicles that are rough riding. I wanted to keep this one livable for long trips. I think I may have to go a bit lower in the rear if possible though to make it look right. We’ll see.

Thanks to a recommendation here, grabbed these tape on mirror covers. I'd give them a 8/10. Should work good enough.

Helps make my truck look less poverty spec, while also providing protection off-road, since they simply tape on and can be replaced easily.
Looks great! I’ve read reviews where people say they’ve noticed wind noise after adding the covers. Notice anything?

I was worried about that. I haven't driven it yet. I'll report back.

I've been noticing my headlights and fogs didn't seem to be throwing very much light at night. Forgot to take before and after photos but everything was aimed way low.

Spent a half hour adjusting them per the manual last night. Park the truck level and aimed at something 25feet from the front of the truck, I used a board and measured out 25ft with a tape. Headlight hotspot (lows) should be at the same level as the bulbs from 25ft. The fogs should be about 3" lower than the level of the fog bulbs from 25ft.

My headlights are 41 1/2" from the ground at the truck, and the fogs are 25" from the ground.

My fogs were aimed at the ground about 3feet in front of the truck. The lows were ~32"off the ground at 25feet, so 9 and a half inches low at 25ft on my truck. This is from the factory! No wonder I couldn't see anything at night.

Adjusted them using the above measurements and wouldn't you know it, I can see at night now!

Finally got around to making brackets for my OVS 270 LTE awning. Just got some mild steel c channel, notched it, bent it, drilled it, and then painted it.

^ i think all the fog lights are aimed straight down. I aimed mine up and they are great once aimed.
The guy who gets paid $40/hr to aim them is too busy playing Angry Birds and Farmville.

Winterized the small engine fleet today and the fuel I had leftover from the summer was getting a bit stale. So it went into the F150... and spilled on the side of the F150... which meant I needed to do a wash on the F150...
