2024 f150 3.5 Ecoboost cuts out

I purchased a 2024 Ford f150 in May and i have had it back to the dealer 6 times and they can't figure it out. When truck sets overnight or sets for a few hours it cuts out real bad for the first 5 minutes driving under 35. I've tried over and over for the dealer to send there tech out to my house one morning and drive it but they won't instead they have me drive the truck to there dealership and leave it overnight so they can drive it. The problem is i've told them over and over again that they park it it the backlot and by the the time you drive it thru there lot and then thru there front gate and get to the street it takes to long and the truck won't do it. I finally figured out that when you first start to drive it jumps from 1st to third and cuts out 3 times real bad before it shifts into 4th and cuts outs 2 times then goes into 5th 6th and has a slight cut out in both. Then it quits the bad cut outs still you can feel a little cut outs every now and then. Does anyone else have this problem with there truck or have any ideas on what's going on i love the truck but would like to figure out what's going on. When i say cutting out its like bad misfire.

Never seen this issue, but also your description of what is going on doesn't help...if your cuts out = misfire, I would check the coil connectors make sure they are all seated and latched, if that checks out I'd pull the spark plugs, check the gap on the plug. If everything looks good, might have to just start replacing parts (spark plugs, possibly coils)

It's strange to have such a bad misfire only occur 'cold' which would lead me to believe its probably a spark plug issue...but I don't know..could be throttle body...

When I replaced my spark plugs I forgot to plug in one of the coils, and the truck ran like shit, would feel more normal at running speed 50mph, but if you tried to accelerate it would be rougher than rough. Drove about 1 mile like that to get back to my garage, no codes or any indication of an issue from the truck. Worked great after I plugged the coil back in though.

Your biggest problem really probably is your dealer/shop. Seems like they are unwilling to dig into it, likely because there are no trouble codes, so they just throw their hands up and walk away....maybe best to try another shop.

This sounds oddly similar to what happened to me a few weeks back on my 2024. However, it only happened once which disabled the truck and had to be towed to the dealer. They basically said they couldnt even see any codes or evidence of what I was describing. I guess overnight it reset itself…thankfully it hasn’t happened again and all has been good.

Thanks for your help there is no codes but i think ford has misfire monitor set up real high so owners don't complain i purchased a new Autel scanner shows for 2024 but when i called the tech at autel he informed me that Ford has put out a update for 2023 or 2024 so there is a lot of things i can't check but he did tell me to go back into the scanner and due a manual setup and and list the truck as a 2022 which i did and it helped, The scanner shows lots of misfires and the ford power balance shows misfires but when i showed the scanner to the dealer they did nothing.

Rusty Eck Ford Wichita Ks 2024 fi50 1FTFW3L81RKD56566 SERVICED 5/20/24 5/24/24 6/23/24 9/22/24 and three more times they did not list they said since it was the same item it wasn't necessary to to list on my ford app. Each time i dropped my truck off they would feel out a worksheet and when i picked it up all i received was my keys no paperwork.

Is it just falling on its face when it shifts? I mean if you start your truck and immediatly take off i could see the trans shifting like that until it warms up.

If the barrery is low/weak, then letting it sit overnight, doing it's thing can perhaps cause this. I mean if you don't have enough voltage all of the trucks electrical systems will be off. Something easy to check, get a new motorcraft 850AGM battery.

Is it just falling on its face when it shifts? I mean if you start your truck and immediatly take off i could see the trans shifting like that until it warms up.
When i start it up and drive it out of my garage i have to back it up and my driveway is about 70ft from our street. The last time i dropped my truck off they gave me another 2024 f150 as a loaner same transmission and it was as smooth taking off in morning you could not feel it shift

this is a brand new truck and the battery was checked when they fixed the auto lock system.

always get paperwork from these guys. Make them write it up make them provide a copy in writing of what was done. Do that every damn visit

1-3 tranny shift is normal. More details about the truck falling on its face is necessary.
