With the rising cost of insurance and not really needing 3 vehicles any more, I decided earlier in the year to downsize 2 of my vehicles into 1. I sold my 2022 AMG GLC63 and my 2019 Transit van and picked up a 2024 F150 XL 5.0. I set up the F150 recently with a Whipple and a few mods to get the truck where I want it. So I can still haul my dirt bikes and such (what my van was for) AND have a sporty ride for a daily (what my SUV was for). Kept the 2002 Vette as that is my baby! Much cheaper now by downsizing from 3 to 2 vehicles.

My mods:
remove the 4x4 stickers on the bed
remove the 1.25 inch blocks on the rear leaf's
25% tint all the way around except windshield
Raptor Steering wheel and wired for paddles
Whipple SC and updated Stage 1 tune (stock fuel/injectors and pump gas as this is a daily) includes tranny tune (much better shifting and spacing of shifts now)
PPE deep sump trans pan (1.75 more capacity and cooling fins with a drain plug)
white mirror caps and door handles. Really cleans up the looks
under coated
Corsa Extreme side exit
Peragon hard cover
FOX 2.0 rear shocks

Remaining mods are big brakes for the front as this truck will see some weekend fun at the strip a few times a year. Front coil overs possibly, will see how the stockers perform. upgraded sway bars to help with the small amount of roll I feel on harder cornering.
I have a set of FUEL Bronze rims (18's) but will save those for a while and use up the stock tires over the winter.

Love a plain looking truck that is Jekyll and Hyde-

Nice looking truck, I love SC's.

Are the mirror caps covers or the actual cap?

Nice! What sway bars are you thinking about adding? Hellwig, Steeda, or someone else?

The stock FX4 shocks combined with the Ford Performance Lowering Kit is good, but it still "floats" a little on dips in the road and around corners. I plan to upgrade the shocks at some point down the road, but have been told by many that the rear sway made a bigger improvement to handling over their shock upgrade.

Cap covers. Bought the mirror and door cap covers from the same vendor on eBay. They snap on and are a perfect flush fit. Uses 3m tape on the back sides.

Got them from "beyondbasik" on eBay

I looked at the Steeda's but was gonna go with the Belltech. They are out of stock now but should be avail in 3-4 weeks supposedly.

What's leading you to Belltech? How does sit compare to the others? I was planning on the Steeda 2WD.

wonder if they are made by Trim Illusions? I did their snap on handle covers. Came gloss black, but had a buddy paint em. Been on over a year, zero issues.

Why I ordered my Lariat with the lowest 500A package.. (no longer available) it is more than enough and LOVE the 5.0 engine but wanted leather seats for my last PU.

I cannot honestly tell you how they compare to others, I have used Belltech before on other trucks and I was happy with them. They come with a complete kit including new hardware/bushings, not that it is a big deal but I like the complete kit. Price is decent too, ~800 for both front and back depending on where you buy them. My experience is, the roll is not too bad, but enough where I can tell beefier sways would be a nice addition.

The addition of the fox 2.0 shocks helped alot and got rid of the "choppy" feel going over ripple like bumps and RR tracks etc. I was amazed at how sloppy the stock shocks were, I mean I can easily compress them by hand, so they were not doing much at all. The Fox 2.0 are a nice made shock. Full aluminum body and real compression/rebound performance. They are a fixed shock and no adjustment though-

Great looking truck. My term for those wheels is poverty stars, and when I was going to get a '24 rcsb xl I was insistent that the truck be a 101a, not a 103a so it would have the poverty stars, black bumpers, and rubber floor mat. If this ram that I ended up buying starts having the widespread misfire problems they seem to be having and I get it lemon lawed I'll likely do what I was originally going to do, risk be damned, and get a rcsb 4wd with no options other than 4wd and have a whipple put on it.

How did the title of my thread get changed? I didn't put the "Whipple sleeper with supercharger" in parens in the title? What the hell?

If a moderator changed my thread title, CHANGE IT BACK and don't monkey with people threads - this is BS

Just sent a post to the board, while this may seem like a small issue, what if someone changed what you posted? Made your post different Than what you posted?
