I use the button method at some long lights to rest my leg. With cruise control on hold the reset button for a second to brake hold. I don't like it on all the time.
Could you explain this method a little more? Which "reset" button are you referring to?

I fix software bugs!
I tried it for about a month. I couldn’t get rid of the old school way of pressing and holding the brake pedal then transitioning to the accelerator pedal when it was time to go. It’s turned off now.

I HATE it. It's fine for traffic once you get to trust it, but try manoeuvreing in a tight garage or other place where you want the gentlest of accelerator input to move inches. It's the very first DA setting in the list for a reason: you don't have to scroll to turn it off ?

If it didn't take so much throttle to disengage it I'd like it but since it does, mine is off, from early days.

I do like the auto parking brake though.

If u didn't have cruise control on you may have to tap set first to set it to 15mph and then hold the center button for 2 secs.

I like it for on road driving, it can be a bit difficult to deal with when parking in tight quarters though. The throttle input to disengage it is a little too much for some situations. I am now used to it, so getting rid of it would likely mean an accident for me as I’d roll into someone at a light when I took my foot off the brake lol.

I love it in stop and go traffic. Now that schools are back in, I use it even more. I do understand some folks desire to have a physical button instead of it being buried on the Sync menu. My wife's Telluride has a button that you can turn off and on which is convenient, i guess. We always leave it on, though.

I use it. I like it. Yes, I too wish it had a physical button. I set "Driver's Assistance" as the on screen hot button. Two presses to turn it off. You MUST TURN IT OFF before going through automated car washes (the kind that pushes the truck along a track).
Not correct, I have this feature enabled on my truck and it has zero effect on the truck free wheeling in neutral at a car wash.

I leave it on constantly. The only time I shut it off is when I go through the car wash. I keep the Driver's Assistance screen set as a hot button at the bottom of the screen for easy access. Just one tap for the screen, then one tap to shut it off.

I don't like it and have it disabled. However, I do see the benefit that it has in some situations. I am just glad they give us the option to disable it.

I like it. I get bad knee pain from time to time and it saves me from keeping the brakes pressed in stopped traffic. As others have mentioned, my biggest issue is the slow approach when parking nose in to a parking spot. I’ve tried to follow the manual to cancel it as I move slowly in by unbuckling the seatbelt or opening the driver door but it still activates when I stop.
