Thanks for the reply. I'm talking about the seatbelt chime that goes off as you're driving every 10 seconds. I checked the setting for 720-01-02 and oddly enough 720-01-02 was already set to xxxx x2--. Even in my as built from motorcraft service it's set to xxxx x2--. It's really weird. I have all the chimes off like key in ignition and door ajar. The seatbelt minder is the only one that just will not work.

1.

Disables door ajar chime

Yours is still enabled according to ford asbuilt site. Maybe it's interfering somehow, or
2. Are you using SYNC profiles? Try deleting them?

Thanks again for trying. Yeah I've already changed 720-01-02 to xx4x xx--. That worked to turn off the door ajar chime.

With the sync profile I think that's a trim level thing. I don't think xl/stx trucks get profiles. I've seen other posts with people talking about it. I don't have that option at all in my sync settings.

I'm seriously about to buy a seatbelt receiver off of ebay and a buckle off of Amazon. Zip tie it all under my seat and plug the cable into that. My truck will always think my seatbelt is buckled and I'll never think about this annoying issue again.

I do a lot of low speed driving at work sites while taking work calls. The chime is really annoying.

Many people buy the thing to click into belt receiver. If I was constantly doing low speed work like that I would probably go with one of those while on site.

I cannot get the seatbelt chime to turn off. I tried the nonforscan method multiple times. Acc on, Parking brake on, wait 5 seconds, buckle/unbuckle 4 times. I've tried stopping here and also buckling/unbuckling one more time while the seatbelt light is blinking. No dice.

I tried the forscan quick settings for driver and passenger belt minder disable. I tried changing the asbuilt figures to match the posts covering this in this thread. I've tried an ipc reboot after making the changes. Still the chime goes off.

The weird thing is in the ipc asbuilt the line 720-01-01 xxxx xx0x xx-- is supposed to be driver belt chime off. That was always 0 from the factory. Even looking at my asbuilt from motorcraft service it shows that one number in 720-01-01 as zero.

Thanks but the numbers for my ipc stop at 720-12-02, don't have 720-13 or 720-14 in there.

I wonder if it's a trim level thing

Is it possible to have trailer sway control default to off via forscan? I can turn it off when towing but when the truck is power cycled it defaults back to on?

You could try the following, you'd need to re-enable if you wanted it back at a future time. I would reboot both modules as well.

Looking for some help. I added a power release tailgate to my base XL with manual tailgate. I've added the two wires to C265 and c2280e.

Working through forscan I've enabled anything I can find for tailgate power or release. What am I missing? Where should I be looking? Thanks!

Can additional screen brightness steps be added? I’ve seen the default behavior is to roughly double the increments that can be adjusted depending on if the IPC/APIM are in day or night mode. I’ve found that at night, even at the minimum brightness, the screens are still too bright for my liking.

Hmm, not really sure and I haven't got any reports of the link not working and it's working fine on my end. This 2021-24 F150 spreadsheet link is what you're trying to access?

Much appreciated. That link is working. Perhaps it had something to do with my "tuning" laptop. Seems to work fine on this computer

I don't see an update in Forscan spreadsheet - has anyone successfully gotten Glare Free working in a 2024? I went through it originally when I first got it 3 months ago, but the HCM module settings don't seem to line up. Was wondering if anybody had worked through these settings further.
