2024 F-150 Platinum Long Box - Avalanche Gray

After roughly 6 months of waiting, I picked up my truck at Granger at the end of June. Not a long list of mods planned, but 157” trucks seem to be less common, so I wanted to share a few photos.

Delivery Day:

After 2” Level:

After 275/65/20 Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain’s (also installed bed cover that I kept from my previous 2020)

Next up is wheel well liners (on order), spray in bedliner, and a set of splash guards. That’ll be it for a little while at least.

Beautiful truck! Really dig that color with the dark accents (would look really sharp with some tint on the front windows).
Love my 157" finding many reasons to utilize the full bed. Worth the wait.

There are lots of BAP Crew Cab 6'5" beds around. It was just a late availability option.

Probably because crew cab long boxes are extremely popular here in AB and particularly on the east coast. Drive up to Grande Prairie or Fort Mac, or fly out to NFLD and that’s all you see.

I just found out they were available in Canada a few days ago.

Whenever I tried to build a price a similar truck to my '22 it told me I had to switch to a 5'5" box.

Yep, agreed. I'm in Edmonton and see lots of Super Crew long boxes.

Congratulations on the new ride. It's a gorgeous looking truck and yes, long beds are the oddball . Mine is a 21 long bed and I can probably count on both hands how many I have seen in 3 years.

They are not terribly uncommon where I live in Metro Detroit. If anything I’m seeing more of them then I ever have before.

Looks like my truck but I have an xlt 302 package short bed with standard mirrors

I first thought long bed was 8'... But I think it's only available with a Super Cab..I built my truck many times but it was always a regular cab so I'm not familiar with what you can get on extended cabs.
