I went to open the tailgate to load up the truck bed and it popped out of the right hinge. I was lucky enough to catch it before it scratched the truck. It did pop back in and I haven't had an issue since. I get that tailgates are designed to be removed, but not at random. Heh...
Not a '24, but I've had two '23s with questionable quality control
'23 XLT 302a made in Dearborn
- Insufferable wind noise. Tried adjusting the striker in and the striker bolt broke. That was fun rolling into the dealership hanging onto the driver door...
- Poor bed alignment, poor door...
Jack up the MSRP to account for the increase due to tarrifs, then have a blanket 'employee pricing' policy (that is really the original MSRP) so Ford can have it's cake and eat it too, right?
Look at _any_ 14th gen F-150 and you will notice some imperfection in door and body panel alignments. Ford's high tolerance for misalignment is unreal.
If not hauling or towing, get a 2.7.

Are you talking about using the tailgate release button (dash/fob) with the Tyger T3?
Not going to happen unless you don’t mind water in your bed by not sufficiently clamping down the tonneau…
You've certainly got that right! I came from a GM 3.0 Diesel that had nothing but emissions issues. I had seriously thought about buying it but then got yet another check engine light, so I literally dropped that off at the Chevy dealer, walked next door and leased my first F-150 thinking I'd be...
You sound like me. My '23 2.7 3.55 gears, 145wb was built in March 2023 at the Dearborn plant. Not 2 weeks after I leased it, had issues with wind noise, vibrations, misaligned panels and other little gremlins.
I got fed up enough that I recently turned in my lease 2 years early and leased a...
The '24s come with 36gal fuel tank standard. I'm shooting myself in the foot as I just leased a '23 XLT 3.5 157WB and it has the dinky 26 gallon tank...
