That's unfortunate.
It's too bad that the front end refresh required a new headlight design, because I bet THAT was the unfortunate opportunity to include or not include the necessary technology.

I do a fair amount of dark road driving on my truck trips. It's not JUST the much improved lumens that the Gen14 F150 has over any truck I owned previously, but also the wonderful "active lighting" that Glarefree provides. That's a biggie on me considering ever swapping up in the future, as long as this 2022 KingRanch Powerboost is performing well. The lack of constraints this fully equipped truck has will have me hesitant, unless someone knocks it out of the park on Hybrid utility.
What real world mPG do you get from the PB?

Trip 2 has never been reset.
Although it can only count up to 10,000 on the mileage.
It keeps counting "electric miles" though, which is cool.

I'm at ~26,000 miles.
Around 5500 electric miles.

Fuel mileage reported for Trip 2 is 20.9<>21.1 mpg. It's such a large sample that it rarely moves, but stays right at ~21

I'm personally thrilled with that mileage, by the way. I'm an old geezer who remembers my 460 cubic-inch Ford Van that had less HP, less Torque, and got 8-10 mpg.

We live in remarkable times. And we can be very difficult to impress.

We have to contend with deer year round here and it's nice having the sides of the roads remaining illuminated when oncoming vehicles are present. The quad LEDs would throw more total light in brights only, but with oncoming traffic in the equation (or following a vehicle) it was brights or lows with no additional side visibility.

There are additional options in the HCM for 'camera' control (I think that was for dynamic bending control), not sure if ford's got it to work as of yet, but there's a possibility that enabling glare-free may be a different set of variables on the 24s and up. They may still be certifying it and have left the software either at a lesser version, or hidden the flags until certification has occurred. The 24 rollout has been less than pretty thus far.

All we need to do is adopt the Euro headlight beam which keeps the actual lit area lower except for the sidewalk.

US 1950 headlight Regis require headlights to point upwards to light unlit interstate signs. Therefore we all get blasted by blinding lights.

US headlight law is embarrassing. The EU being the undisputed leader in creating laws to justify keeping lawmakers employed, allows for roughly 3x the light output for brights. The laws are in serious need of overhaul.

23 owners manual has full sections on glare free that are absent from the 24 owners manual.. absent of the possibility ford.ca has the wrong manuals I think its been eliminated.
I think you are correct: no glare free on 24 models, only dynamic bending (around corners). They even removed projectors and signature Lighting from the Tremor (I have 22 402A with glare-free enabled). Sucks!

I don’t see any info on dynamic bending in my lighting section of the settings…

I need to see a front end picture with the lights on.. I've heard it utilizes the upper lights. As it is right now, the upper lights are almost useless. High and low beams come out of the bottom light. Anyone with"glare free" want to provide a pic with low and high beams on?

I do not believe that Glare Free is available any longer on 2024. Seems Ford has crippled that feature. I have it on my 2022 Tremor and they’re probably the most amazing lights Ive ever had. I’ve not heard anyone being able to enable it using Forscan. I will Have another look at my top and bottom projectors and I agree the top ones don’t appear to have much of a function unless it’s something we cannot discern without real world driving.

So the mod should still work on 2022s?
Yes, only if equipped with projector headlights. most Canadian deliveries were set with the glare-free enabled. My 2021 Lariat had it enabled, but I had to use forscan on my 22 tremor.

I think Glare free is just the highs on but they have the ability to martix/sectionalize the beam. i dont know if the upper projector is apart of that function or is still just a "for show" piece.

Yes, I actually just converted my 22' XLT to the projectors and was able to enable all the oem functions along with Glare free.
