I updated all the modules today with FDRS with the help of Steve Roberson who sent me his cable. Everything seemed to go ok but now my startup Chimes are not the Normal Ford ones but rather a deeper strange sound. Any ideas? I did search but I saw misderected chimes but I don't think that's this issue. 23 F-150 Lightning, and there are no DTC's

Did you do a dsp update.

10-4, does it resolve itself or do you have any ideas what I can do to fix it?
Only fix is to roll it back.

Typically when you let the truck sleep and come to it the chimes are normal.. but if it isnt only option is to roll it back

Just completed a bunch of update. All but IPMA were successful. I'll have to try again tomorrow. One thing I noticed today was that my fuel gauge (mileage remaining) went from 80 miles to 0 miles and now I'm worried that it's not calibrated. Is this a know issue with the latest updates?

Same process work for replacing an earlier pcm ('21 to a '23), and will it write the correct VIN?
Your 21 truck PCM died so you're swapping to a 2023? or you have a 2023 and you want to swap to a 21/22 so you can tune it?

If the latter, then yes, you do a module replacement in FDRS with a dealer login (must be used to have access to PATS). It will program the VIN, strategy and asbuilt, not to mention PATS.

Not treated the same. You can't do it without a dealer login. This is to prevent people from cloning keys to steal vehicles.

Avoid Sundays if possible and remember license is two calendar days. If you buy on 10th good to use 10th 11th 12th. I'd start on a Friday evening if I had to do another marathon update session. :)
Huh? Isn't "10th 11th 12th" 3 calendar days? I'm going to buy a 2-day license soon. This information could be very useful.
